Company Overview

At Skild AI, we are building the world's first general purpose robotic intelligence that is robust and adapts to unseen scenarios without failing. We believe massive scale through data-driven machine learning is the key to unlocking these capabilities for the widespread deployment of robots within society. Our team consists of individuals with varying levels of experience and backgrounds, from new graduates to domain experts. Relevant industry experience is important, but ultimately less so than your demonstrated abilities and attitude. We are looking for passionate individuals who are eager to explore uncharted waters and contribute to our innovative projects.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to own delivery across the programs that scale Skild AI’s robots to new customer sites, applications, and robot types. Our robots already work in customer facilities. You will run the product releases, hardware builds, and customer deployments that take them to production, where robotics hardware, foundation models, and fleet software meet. You will report to the Senior Director of Product & Engineering and work closely with engineering, product, and operations leaders. You will own how programs are planned, tracked, and delivered, and give leadership clear visibility into progress, risks, and trade-offs. This role offers the chance to shape how a fast-growing company executes and to grow the program management function over time.

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end delivery of concurrent programs, from software releases to hardware builds and customer deployments, and hold teams to clear commitments and milestones.
  • Coordinate dependencies across engineering, product, and operations so work lands in the right order.
  • Surface schedule, technical, and resourcing risks early, drive mitigation, and present trade-offs to leadership with clear options.
  • Lead roadmap and quarterly planning with engineering leads so commitments match team capacity.
  • Run and refine lightweight, Agile-aligned processes for planning, release readiness, and retrospectives, tailored to each team’s size and maturity.
  • Build dashboards and run program reviews that give leadership a single, trusted view of status, risk, and capacity.
  • Write clear program updates, decision memos, and post-mortems.
  • Own and evolve how we use Linear and Notion so plans, dependencies, and decisions are easy to track and find.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience on hardware and/or software products.
  • Proven track record of shipping physical products end to end in robotics, consumer electronics, aerospace, automotive, or similar, including sustaining releases after launch.
  • Experience managing programs across multiple cross-functional teams with external dependencies.
  • Experience running programs that span hardware, firmware, software, and cloud services, with enough technical depth to challenge estimates and spot integration risks.
  • Experience establishing and scaling program management and Agile practices in a fast-paced, growing company.
  • Hands-on experience configuring Linear and Notion (or similar tools such as Jira and Confluence) and building dashboards leaders rely on.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with engineering, product, and executive leaders and drive decisions without direct authority.
  • Scripting or automation skills, or Scrum Master or PMP certification, are a plus.
