Recent advancements in underlying technology have finally made it possible for AI to impact clinical care in a meaningful way. Tempus' proprietary platform connects an entire ecosystem of real-world evidence to deliver real-time, actionable insights to physicians, providing critical information about the right treatments for the right patients, at the right time.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the end-to-end integration of diagnostic builds into customer environments to ensure seamless workflows between Electronic Medical Records systems (EMRs) systems.

  • Manage the full project lifecycle for EMR integration initiatives from initial kick-off through testing and final validation phases.  These initiatives will include a varied set of customer EMRs such as Epic, Cerner, OncoEMR, and NextGen.

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between internal engineering teams and customer side Project Managers to resolve blockers and ensure high-quality data delivery.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project timelines for multiple concurrent initiatives within the partnership pipeline to ensure all milestones are met.

  • Act as a technical consultant to translate complex customer needs into actionable project plans, prioritizing technical execution over traditional administrative tasks.

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Epic-certified analysts, technical teams, and client stakeholders to align internal operational resources with partnership goals.

  • Facilitate regular communication through status reports, escalation calls, and stakeholder meetings to provide visibility into project dependencies and risks.

  • Drive process optimization by continually evolving project workflows and maintaining meticulous documentation, including mapping sheets and change logs.

  • Partner with engineering and product teams to create and enhance software applications that support internal operations and large-scale product delivery.

  • Leverage specialized health-tech expertise and clinical data knowledge to navigate fast-paced, iterative environments involving pharmaceutical-grade data projects.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring that all integrated solutions directly address the strategic goals of the client partnership.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing large-scale, highly integrated projects, preferably within reference laboratory or health system environments.

  • Experience in navigating and configuring EMR systems as an end user and/or as a build analyst.

  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in fast-paced, iterative settings.

  • Strong technical aptitude with working knowledge of EMR workflows and project reporting tools such as Smartsheet and Jira.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Highly organized and systematic approach with a meticulous attention to detail and a focus on process improvement.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high performance standards and accuracy while managing multiple concurrent priorities.

  • Experience with the Epic EMR is considered a plus.

  • Professional certifications such as PMP or Agile are considered a plus.

  • Epic Certifications (e.g., Bridges, Beaker, or Willow) are also considered a plus.
