Location: New York, New Jersey US
Type: Full-time
Department: Financial Markets

Summary
The role involves leading complex, multi-workstream programs using agile delivery methods, driving sprint execution, and engaging directly with senior and executive-level stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met. The ideal candidate is a seasoned project manager with strong organizational and analytical skills, the ability to translate complex technical progress into clear executive communications, and a track record of delivering large-scale programs in fast-paced environments. The position is responsible for establishing and maintaining project management standards, agile ceremonies, and delivery frameworks, while providing comprehensive reporting and oversight to project teams and senior management.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end program delivery using agile methodologies — run sprint ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retros, demos), manage backlogs, and drive teams toward committed deliverables.
- Serve as the primary interface with senior and executive-level management — translate complex technical milestones into clear, high-impact updates and presentations for the Operating Committee and steering groups.
- Independently manage multiple workstreams across complex, long-term programs affecting business processes and technology.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners including Legal, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and senior business leaders to remove blockers and align priorities.
- Conduct project risk assessments, identify key risk factors, and develop effective mitigation and contingency plans.
- Monitor budgets, coordinate resource acquisition and utilization, and manage timelines using defined scheduling and tracking tools.
- Utilize technology, including AI-powered PMO tools, to enhance delivery efficiency and project visibility.
- Assist in solution selection and implementation impacting key business functions.
- Maintain close attention to detail, strong organization, sound risk judgment, and commitment to compliance and excellence.
Eligibilities
- Minimum bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience managing highly complex technical projects involving large, cross-functional teams.
- Proven expertise in agile delivery — sprint planning, backlog management, velocity tracking, and stakeholder demos.
- Strong executive presence with demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior leadership and steering committees.
- PMP or agile certification (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of technical program and/or portfolio management experience.
- Experience in Wealth Management Technology and platforms such as Aladdin / Investment Solution Products is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage senior stakeholders and external partners.
