Join Us in Building the Future of Home Robotics

At Sunday, we're developing personal robots to reclaim the hours lost to repetitive tasks. We're focused on an ambitious goal to make generalized robots broadly accessible, enabling households to take back quality time.

We have spent the last 18 months building a talented team, securing capital, and validating our technology. We are now seeking passionate individuals to join us in the next phase of our growth. If you are ready to apply your skills to the forefront of robotics innovation, we’d love to hear from you.

What to Expect

As a Technical Recruiter you’ll play a critical role in shaping our hiring strategy and scaling our teams from the ground up. You'll partner closely with our founders, engineering leadership, and hiring managers to attract and hire the most sought after talent.

This position will be onsite in our Redwood City office (5 days/week) and will begin as a 6-month-contract with high probability of converting to FTE based on performance and hiring needs.

Pay rate: $80-90/hr

What You’ll Do

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting as a strategic partner to hiring managers across multiple technical teams (and occasional non-tech roles)

  • Execute multi-channel sourcing strategies to engage passive candidates

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through every message and conversation

  • Maintain accurate and real-time tracking of all recruiting activities and pipelines in our ATS (Ashby), ensuring all documentation is updated to reflect current processes and insights

  • Collaborate with leadership to understand hiring needs, direct hiring strategies, and guide new managers on effective hiring practices

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with an emphasis on technical roles (Software, Hardware, ML, Robotics)

  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of the research landscape

  • Data-driven approach to recruitment, with the ability to analyze pipeline metrics and refine strategies accordingly

  • Proficient with Ashby

  • Proven success hiring top technical talent in fast-paced, high-growth, startup environments

  • Deep understanding of startup equity and closing offers against private and public competitors

  • Expertise with sourcing tools and innovative outbound methods

  • Experience hiring in a very fast paced environment with a high cultural and technical bar

  • Strong collaboration, planning, influencing, prioritization, and time-management skills

  • Passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience at every touchpoint

Nice to Have

  • Genuine interest in robotics and embodied AI

  • Experience hiring from top research labs

At Sunday Robotics, we’re building technology shaped by real people — curious, creative, and diverse. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.

Even if you don’t meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply. Studies show that women and underrepresented groups often hold back unless they meet 100% of the criteria — we don’t want that to be the reason we miss out on great talent.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
