Bitovi helps enterprises design, build, and deliver better software. We’re a consultancy that values quality, clear communication, and meaningful impact — and our nearshore presence is growing quickly.

Today, our recruiting efforts are largely reactive: we engage talent only when an immediate need arises. We’re looking to change that.

We’re seeking a Recruiter in Mexico who can help us shift from reactive hiring to a proactive, always-ready talent pipeline. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and maintaining relationships with high-quality nearshore contractors so that, when project needs arise, we can move fast without compromising quality.

You’ll play a key role in building a sustainable bench of vetted tech talent — reducing time-to-hire, improving consistency, and enabling Bitovi to scale with confidence.

This is a contractor role with an hourly rate of $20–$35 USD. Hours are expected to average ~20 hours per week, with flexibility based on business needs.

The Role

As a Contract Technical Recruiter, you’ll be central to helping Bitovi shift from reactive hiring to a proactive nearshore talent strategy. Your primary focus will be building and maintaining a high-quality pipeline of nearshore technical contractors so that when project needs arise, we can move quickly and confidently.

You’ll partner closely with our hiring and delivery teams to continuously source, engage, and nurture top technical talent across Mexico and Latin America, well before roles are formally opened.

Rather than recruiting only against urgent requests, this role emphasizes ongoing relationship-building, market intelligence, and readiness.

What You’ll Do

  • Proactively source and engage engineers, designers, and tech leads to build a ready-to-hire nearshore bench
  • Develop and maintain long-term candidate pipelines aligned to Bitovi’s most common and hardest-to-fill roles
  • Own full-cycle recruiting when roles open — from screening through interview coordination and offers
  • Actively search across multiple channels (LinkedIn, GitHub, Slack/Discord communities, referrals, and local networks)
  • Build in-person connections across Mexico by partnering with local organizations, universities, and tech education programs to create a consistent, repeatable talent flow
  • Screen candidates for technical alignment, communication skills, and contractor readiness
  • Act as Bitovi’s local expert on the Mexico talent market, advising on compensation ranges, availability, and hiring trends
  • Partner with hiring managers to align on upcoming needs, priority skill sets, and pipeline gaps
  • Track pipeline health, weekly progress, and time-to-fill metrics, adapting strategies as needs evolve

What Success Looks Like

  • A strong, well-maintained pipeline of vetted nearshore candidates ready for fast engagement
  • Reduced time-to-source and time-to-hire, especially for repeat and hard-to-fill roles
  • High-quality hires with consistent technical and communication standards
  • Positive, relationship-driven candidate experiences — even before roles are open
  • Clear, proactive communication and data-informed recruiting decisions

About You
You’re a relationship-builder and strategic recruiter who enjoys thinking one step ahead. You’re energized by building systems and pipelines — not just filling requisitions.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have 3+ years of technical recruiting experience
  • Have supported or partnered with U.S.-based companies
  • Deeply understand the Mexican tech talent market, including compensation expectations and availability
  • Are fluent in English and comfortable screening for communication-heavy consulting roles
  • Take ownership, move quickly, and communicate clearly with stakeholders
  • Enjoy representing a company in the community through in person events

Why Bitovi
Bitovi is a remote-first consultancy that values autonomy, accountability, and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with a collaborative, experienced team and have a direct impact on how we scale our nearshore delivery — not just by filling roles, but by building a sustainable recruiting engine.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
