The summary above was generated by AI

Everyone's talking about AI. But here's the truth: ChatGPT can't send your emails. It can't book your flights. It can't even order you lunch.

Why? Because AI is trapped in a chat box. It can't take real actions in the real world.

We are changing that forever. We're not just building another AI company - we're creating the infrastructure that will power every AI application you'll use in the future.

The Revolution Needs You

Every AI app needs agentic "tools" - special functions that let AI models take real actions. Without tools, AI can only chat. With tools, AI can actually do things. We're building the definitive tools catalog and tool-calling platform that will unlock AI's true potential. Think Zapier for AI Actions. Think Auth0 for AI. Think really big.

Why This Is The Opportunity of a Lifetime

  • Founder-Market Fit : Our CEO previously founded Stormpath (acquired by Okta), where he created the first Authentication API for developers. He's done this before - and this time the market is 10x bigger. Our CTO led the vector database team at Redis, shipped 100+ LLM applications, and is a contributor to LangChain and LlamaIndex. He knows this space better than anyone.

  • Dream Team : We've assembled authentication, integrations, distributed systems, and AI experts from Okta, Redis, Microsoft, Splunk, Ngrok, Google, Airbyte, Disney, and HPE who've built and founded multiple successful developer platforms.

  • Perfect Timing : We're at the inflection point of AI adoption. The biggest problem isn't better models - it's connecting AI to real-world actions. That's us.

  • Massive Market : We're building critical infrastructure for the biggest technological shift of our generation. Every AI app will need what we're building.

  • Backed By The Best: Our investors have backed Databricks, Clickhouse, MongoDB, Perplexity, Cohere, ScaleAI, Confluent, Elastic, and Firebase. They see what we see - this is going to be huge.

The Challenge

We have a category-defining product, a phenomenal culture driven by employees who want to make AI safe to turn loose in the real world, and ambitious hiring goals for the year ahead. To get there, we need a recruiter who is a true extension of our engineering team, one who treats every hire knowing it will define what we build next.

You'll partner closely with our Head of Engineering to define and hire the most exceptional engineering talent on the market and deliver a recruiting process so good it leaves both hiring teams and candidates in awe, creating raving fans of how Arcade hires.

At your core, you're a recruiter who has always been pulled toward building the recruiting programs and processes that up-level how candidates and hiring teams think a recruiting team can function. And you do it with a point of view: that AI is here to up-level how we work, but that the human element of recruiting matters more than ever. And, you already live that balance, leveraging AI to elevate every part of the talent function while keeping a keen, human eye on the relationships at the center of it.

Get ready to do the most exciting recruiting work of your life at Arcade. This is a place with the people, teams, and resources for you to create, ideate, and truly build the recruiting infrastructure you've only dreamed of, and can now make real.

What You'll Do

  • Be Engineering’s trusted talent partner. Partner closely with our Head of Engineering and become the person the org counts on for hiring, owning it full-cycle as we scale, from role calibration to close. Learn the work deeply and earn the team's trust, then go further as a true thought partner: helping them think through how to show up as a category leader, whether through blogs, speaking events, or harnessing their voices, so Arcade stands out as a top-notch engineering organization.

  • Bring our roles to life in a competitive market. You have the art of storytelling down to a science: you find what makes each role special and tell that story in a way that connects exceptional engineers to our vision, then stay with them all the way through the process.

  • Attract and close exceptional talent. Win senior engineers on story, craft, and experience, including confident, credible equity and comp conversations. What can we do to stand out in a crowded hiring market?

  • Turn Arcade into a networking machine. You see pipelines as dynamic, living things: you proactively map and warm relationships with exceptional technical talent, stay active in the market, and activate the whole team's networks, not just your own. You know the sum is greater than the parts. This means going to events, amplifying our technical blogs, and spreading the word of Arcade.

  • Own pipeline health. Stay deeply tapped into the health of every engineering search, and build out the pipeline reporting that keeps hiring managers and leadership clear on exactly where things stand.

  • Be our market-intelligence partner. Bring talent-landscape, comp-trend, and competitor insight back to the engineering team to sharpen how and where we hire.

  • Level up already-strong processes. We have great foundations in place, and you'll partner with the team to make our interview loops, scorecards, and candidate experience genuinely industry-leading.

Required Skills

  • ~6+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting, focused on engineering, including time at an early-stage or high-growth startup, a genuinely high hiring bar, and a track record of attracting and closing exceptional senior engineering talent in competitive markets.

  • A phenomenal senior recruiting partner. You build relationships naturally, and the depth of the ones you've kept with candidates and hiring teams over the years speaks for itself. You've raised the level of the teams you've worked with, sharpening their practices, programs, and processes, and you can name more than one function you left meaningfully better than you found it. You genuinely believe a strong recruiting process is one of a company's greatest competitive edges, and you recruit like it.

  • Expert sourcing chops. You can point to creative ways you've gone beyond LinkedIn and traditional sourcing tools to activate entire talent pools, often by tapping the expertise and networks of the teams around you.

  • Technical fluency enough to be dangerous. You can hold a real conversation about infra, APIs, auth, and AI, read a resume for actual signal, and earn an engineer's respect in the first five minutes.

  • A trusted voice in the hard conversations. You communicate with clarity and candor, you have a keen eye for where a message or a process could land better, and you move through the tough moments, with candidates and internal teams alike, with equal parts directness and care.

  • A builder at heart: automations, AI-assisted sourcing and screening workflows, clever tooling hacks. You don't wait for permission to make your own job better.

Bonus Points

  • You've recruited for dev tools, infrastructure, API, or AI/agent companies and can speak the language of the people you're hiring.

  • You've scaled an engineering org through a high-growth phase and know what that pace really demands.

Join The Movement

We're not just building a product - we're leading a movement to transform AI from just chatbots to agents that can take actions against real systems. This is your chance to be at the forefront of that revolution.

If you want to look back in 5 years and say, "I helped build that", then we want to talk to you. Ready to make AI actually useful? Apply Now
