About Us

Sieve is a multi-modal lab curating the world's highest-quality training datasets — spanning video, audio, images, text, and 3D. We combine exabyte-scale data infrastructure and novel multimodal understanding techniques that push the frontier of foundation models. Video alone makes up 80% of internet traffic, and across modalities, data has become the enabling medium powering creativity, communication, gaming, AR/VR, and robotics. Sieve exists to solve the biggest bottleneck in the growth of these applications: high-quality training data.

We partner with top AI labs and did $XXM last quarter alone, as a team of ~30 people. We also raised our Series A from Tier 1 firms such as Matrix Partners, Swift Ventures, Y Combinator, and AI Grant.

Why Now

Sieve is one of the most capital-efficient teams in AI - roughly 30 people serving the world's leading AI labs across every major data modality. You'll join early, own problems end-to-end, and the hires you make will help define the future of multimodal models.

About the Role

As a Full-Cycle Technical Recruiter, you'll own recruiting for engineering and product roles across Sieve. You'll source technical candidates via LinkedIn and web-based sourcing, run screening calls, manage our Ashby pipeline, coordinate interviews, and close offers. This isn't a back-office role - you'll work directly with hiring managers to understand what we need, own the candidate experience end-to-end, and build the processes and templates that make recruiting scalable as we grow.

Requirements
  • This role requires you to be in-person 5 days a week

  • 3+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience (engineering focus)

  • Elite Ashby experience - you know the platform inside out and can optimize workflows, manage integrations, and pull reporting

  • Strong technical sourcing skills - you can find engineers on LinkedIn/GitHub/the web and know how to assess technical fit quickly

  • Ability to screen technical candidates and provide meaningful feedback to hiring managers

  • Clear, direct communication - both with candidates and internal stakeholders

  • Ownership mindset - bias towards action, you see what needs to happen and do it

  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapid context-switching in a fast-growing startup

Bonus
  • Direct hiring experience for MLEs and/or Forward Deployed Engineers

  • Early hire at a startup (understands the challenge of scaling from 5 → 50 people)

  • Exploring AI as an accelerant for sourcing, screening, and/or recruiting ops

Benefits
  • 401k + Full Health Insurance

  • Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner covered and your choice of snacks

  • Ubers covered home

Open to candidates who are strong technical sourcers willing to grow into full-cycle
