Working at Humble Robotics means taking on the biggest change in ground transportation in decades. We’re building an autonomous, zero-emissions hauler that dramatically lowers the cost of freight with groundbreaking vision-based AI, designed for today’s global logistics network.

We’re a fast-moving, close-knit team of AV industry veterans and innovative thinkers. We don’t believe culture can be engineered - but when it falls into place, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Progress has never felt so present.

Position Overview

Humble Robotics is reimagining ground transportation, using advanced physical AI to solve today's biggest freight challenges - and the engineers we hire are the ones who make that possible. We're looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for our hardest-to-fill engineering roles across robotics, autonomy, perception, machine learning, controls, embedded systems, and mechanical and electrical engineering. In this role you'll partner directly with engineering leaders to understand technical skill requirements, build and nurture pipelines of exceptional hard-tech talent, and deliver a candidate experience that reflects the ambition of our mission. You'll be a critical early voice in shaping how Humble Robotics attracts and hires the people who will build the future of autonomous freight.

Key Responsibilities

    • Own the full recruiting cycle - sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and close.

    • Partner with hiring managers and engineering leadership to translate complex technical requirements into clear role scopes, calibrated candidate profiles, and effective interview loops.

    • Proactively build and maintain pipelines of high-caliber hard-tech candidates through targeted outbound sourcing, referrals, and events.

    • Manage candidates through the process with rigor and care, while delivering a best-in-class, high-touch candidate experience.

    • Drive offers to close, partnering on compensation, leveling, and competing-offer strategy for senior and specialized technical hires.

    • Track and report on pipeline health and hiring metrics (funnel conversion, time-to-fill, source effectiveness) and use data to continuously improve the recruiting process.

    • Champion Humble Robotics' mission, culture, and employer brand to prospective candidates in a competitive talent market.

Minimum Qualifications

    • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.

    • Proven track record of sourcing, engaging, and closing highly technical and senior candidates in a competitive market.

    • Strong ability to partner with engineering hiring managers, understand technical requirements, and calibrate on candidate quality.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a track record of delivering an outstanding candidate experience.

    • Experience working with an applicant tracking system (ATS) and using recruiting data and metrics to drive decisions.

    • Eligible to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

    • A genuine interest in growing beyond recruiting into broader People/HR responsibilities, such as onboarding, employee relations, compensation and leveling frameworks, performance processes, and other HR operations.

    • Experience recruiting for startups, hardware, deep-tech, or autonomous-vehicle companies.

    • Experience recruiting candidates internationally.

    • Familiarity with technical concepts across the robotics and physical-AI stack, enough to hold credible conversations with engineers and candidates.

    • Experience building recruiting processes or employer-brand initiatives from an early stage.

    • Experience working with Lever

Compensation

This role is eligible for base salary + benefits + equity compensation. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including qualifications, skills, experience, and location.

Additional Information

As part of the interview process, we may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to compare your qualifications and experience to the job description. A human reviews all AI output and makes a final hiring decision. Humble Robotics does not rely on the output to make any employment decisions. Some applicants may have a legal right to opt-out of the use of AI as part of our interview process. Contact [email protected] to exercise this right or if you have further questions on the use of AI tools in our hiring process.

Humble Robotics is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, national origin, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, marital status or any other characteristics protected by law.
