The Role

As an early recruiter at Rowspace, you'll help build the talent engine that powers our next phase of growth from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape how we hire, who we hire, and what it means to join Rowspace. In a typical week, you might be closing an offer with a senior engineer, refining our sourcing strategy for a hard-to-fill role, partnering with a hiring manager to sharpen their interview process, and thinking through how we tell our story to candidates who don't know us yet.

What You'll Do
  • Build talent pipelines and processes from the ground up

  • Recruit, source, and close technical and non-technical talent to help us grow our mission

  • Work closely with technical and non-technical hiring managers to translate their needs into job descriptions and interview processes that attract candidates

  • Help shape Rowspace's employer brand in the market

What You Have
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally working at a high-growth startup environment

  • Comfortable evaluating engineering pipelines and partnering with technical hiring managers

  • Leverage AI and agentic coding tools to drive recruiting workflow automation and increase recruiting productivity

  • Strong instincts for talent by assessing for both skills and culture fit, and you know the difference between the two

  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and moving fast without sacrificing candidate or hiring manager experience

  • Familiarity with modern recruiting tools (Ashby knowledge is a plus)

  • Experience recruiting for GTM or finance-adjacent roles is a plus

  • Genuine curiosity about the financial technology or AI space. You don't need to be an expert, but you should be excited to become one

Perks & Benefits
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Future Planning: 401(k) plan including employer match on contributions made while employed by Rowspace

  • Food & Fuel: Monthly commuter stipend, plus free daily lunch and a fully stocked snack bar in the office

  • Team Culture: Regular team offsites to bond and strategize away from the desk
