A strong background in PV modules, frame structural behavior, and corrosion/coating performance is highly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the internal team to understand all relevant technical specifications, drawings, qualification documentation, and support development of customer-facing materials as needed.

  • Gather and document customer requirements.

  • Review module supplier specs and support frame customization for structural loads, tracker/racking interfaces, and manufacturing constraints.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Supply Chain on feasibility, testing, manufacturability, and cost optimization.

  • Travel to domestic and international customer sites, suppliers, and testing labs as needed.

  • Maintain competitive awareness on frame designs, coatings, structural performance, and cost/quality drivers.

What You’ll Need:

Technical Background

  • 3–5 years of experience in solar product design, mechanical systems, or structural components.

  • Strong understanding of PV module design, module frames (aluminum or steel), coatings, and corrosion behavior in outdoor environments.

  • Familiarity with structural loads (wind/snow), mechanical testing, UL/IEC standards, and CAD drawings.

  • Experience with steel and/or aluminum forming, roll forming, or fabrication a plus.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills—able to simplify technical content for customers.

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency with Excel; CRM tools (Salesforce/NetSuite) a plus.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Soft Traits

  • Customer-driven mindset with relentless follow-through.

  • Calm under pressure; strong problem-solving capability.

  • Passion for solar technology, durability, and system reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mandarin language skills for coordination with Asia-based suppliers.

  • Experience with utility-scale solar, trackers, or module manufacturing lines.

  • Demonstrated success supporting technical sales or product applications engineering.
