Sell MOXGUARD recurring resilience services to post-incident and proactive prospects by leading technical qualification, discovery, solution design, and scoped proposals. Who You Are

A company that has just been through an incident doesn't need a vendor. It needs a plan it can afford, in an order that makes sense, from someone who understands what actually happened to them. You're the person who makes that plan actionable and transparent.

You're technical enough to earn respect from the engineers who lived through the incident, and commercial enough to know that a well-scoped roadmap is how a client's worst week becomes a long-term partnership. You carry a number and you're comfortable with that. The deals you win are the ones where you were genuinely right about what the client needed next.

You'd rather scope something accurately than scope it big. You've learned to say "we don't know that yet" without losing the room, and to tell a client when something isn't a fit - which is usually the reason they trust you on everything else.

Why You Matter

You'll join MOXFIVE as a Technical Sales Executive on the Business Resilience team, working with clients at the point where an incident ends and the question of what happens next begins.

MOXFIVE operates at the intersection of high-stakes incident response, technical advisory, and the legal and insurance ecosystems that activate when organizations are most vulnerable. What we learn on the front line of thousands of incidents becomes MOXGUARD, our recurring resilience service, which applies that knowledge to a client's own environment to evaluate which real-world attack patterns, exposures, and control gaps are actually relevant to them before the next incident.

Converting clients onto MOXGUARD is the center of this role. It is what turns a single engagement into an ongoing relationship, and it is the foundation everything else is built on, including the advisory work that follows. You'll run a defined technical sales process to get there.

To be clear about the shape of this role: this is not an incident response position. You will not be deployed into active investigations or stood up in a war room. Your work begins where the IR team's ends, at report delivery, when the client turns and asks what happens now. You'll work in close partnership with practice leaders and Account Executives, who own the client relationship and the commercial motion. You own whether the technical answer is right.

What You'll Do

  • Execution of MOXFIVE's technical sales process to convert post-incident clients and proactive prospects into the MOXGUARD offering at scale.

  • Position MOXGUARD in terms of the client's own environment, not ours: which attack patterns, exposures, and control gaps actually apply to them

  • Lead discovery and technical qualification that establishes prospect needs & fit

  • Build the business case a client can take internally, connecting recurring spend to exposure they have just experienced first hand

  • Map the buying group and build technical champions across the client organization: CISO, CIO, IT leadership finance & procurement

  • Act as the technical lead alongside an Account Executive on demos, solution presentations, and security strategy overviews that hold up under scrutiny

  • Build tailored security roadmaps jointly with practice loaders, phased and sequenced, as the technical backbone of the proposal

  • Own technical scope development for proposals, RFP responses, and Statements of Work with the ability to defend that scope through negotiation

  • Navigate complex procurement cycles, security and compliance reviews, and pricing conversations within approved guardrails

  • Deliver accurate and timely scoping, bill of materials (BOM), and clean handoffs to the Service Delivery organization

  • Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast a sales pipeline in a timely fashion in CRM and quoting tools

  • Carry and deliver against a quota built on MOXGUARD Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) alongside project-based Resilience engagements

What You'll Bring

  • 5-8+ years in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or post-incident advisory, with demonstrated revenue impact or quota attainment

  • Real depth in one or more domains: cybersecurity, identity, networking, cloud, infrastructure, or endpoint protection

  • The ability to hold a room with engineers and executives alike, and to move between those audiences without losing either

  • Willingness to develop your own opportunities alongside the ones that come to you

  • Skill in solution design, scoping, and vendor and product alignment

  • Willingness to travel to client sites for workshops, executive briefings, and partner events

Bonus points for:

  • Time at or adjacent to an IR firm, MSSP, or security consultancy

  • Fluency with NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Controls, or CISA Secure by Design

  • Understanding of procurement and deal management in mid-market and enterprise environments

  • Experience with OEM programs and partner ecosystems - Cisco, Palo Alto, Microsoft, CrowdStrike, and the like

  • Working knowledge of the cyber insurance ecosystem and the stakeholders who operate within it
