Who We Are:

We deploy powerful AI agents in complex, regulated industries, specializing in building the systems that enable autonomous agents to operate entire functions securely and reliably. Our belief is that people should be free of administrative and operational drudgery so they can create value through creativity, reasoning, and judgement.

We’re starting in higher education, a sector with ~$700B in expenses defined by heavy workflows across departments, such as admissions, financial aid, facilities, advising, student services, advancement, and more. Our agents are already embedded across these departments, interacting with millions of students and staff. They process applications, package aid, resolve verification issues, run large-scale communication workflows, handle student support tickets, and more.

We believe that universities are among the most consequential institutions in the world, sitting at the foundation of social and economic progress. Improving how they operate improves who gets educated, who gets supported, and who gets a chance. When higher education runs better, everything built on top of it does too.

About The Role

As a Technical Talent Acquisition Partner at CollegeVine, you’ll play a critical role in scaling our engineering, data, and technical teams as we continue to grow as an AI-first company. You’ll own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, partnering closely with hiring managers to attract and hire top technical talent in a fast-paced startup environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building pipelines from scratch, navigating ambiguity, and helping an AI-driven organization grow efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, including Software Engineering, Data, Machine Learning, Product, and Infrastructure

  • Proactively source and engage passive technical candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, referrals, networking, and creative sourcing strategies

  • Build and maintain strong pipelines for current and future technical hiring needs

  • Partner closely with engineering and technical leaders to define role requirements, calibrate on talent profiles, and set hiring expectations

  • Act as a strategic advisor by sharing market insights, talent availability, and pipeline data

  • Deliver a thoughtful, high-quality candidate experience through clear, timely, and transparent communication

  • Maintain accurate recruiting activity, candidate data, and reporting in Ashby (ATS)

  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, funnel conversion, and source effectiveness to continuously improve outcomes

  • Support employer branding efforts by representing CollegeVine’s mission, culture, and technical vision in the market

What We’re Looking For:
  • 3–6+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles (Software Engineering, Data, ML, Product, AI, or related functions), ideally in a startup or high-growth environment

  • Proven success owning full-cycle, in-house technical recruiting

  • Strong technical sourcing skills and experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms such as GitHub

  • Experience using an ATS (bonus if you’ve worked in Ashby) and ability to use recruiting data to inform decisions

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical leaders

  • Strong ownership mindset and comfort operating with limited structure in a fast-changing company

  • Experience recruiting for AI-first or AI-enabled products, teams, or companies is strongly preferred

  • Interest in leveraging AI-powered recruiting tools to improve sourcing, screening, and hiring workflows

CollegeVine partners with 200+ universities, deploying agentic AI to power campus operations. We have raised venture funding from dedicated investors such as Menlo Ventures (Anthropic, Carta), Silversmith Capital Partners (Webflow, Formstack), Morningside Technology Ventures (Xiaomi, TikTok), and more. In 2020, after years of being a remote-friendly company, CollegeVine became a fully remote company (with a NYC office) with a diverse cast of team members based predominantly in the United States, but also around the world.
