About Team & About Role

The Transformation team’s mission is to position Rubrik as the definitive cyber resilience partner at the center of every enterprise and public sector organization’s transformation journey through deep CXO & boardroom relationships and enablement.

As a Transformation Technical Writer Intern, you will be instrumental in advancing Rubrik Zero Labs' position as a trusted source of threat intelligence in the information security industry. You will regularly interact with all members of the Zero Labs team, including its director, research analysts, and engineers. Key responsibilities will include translating technical research into business insights, amplifying Rubrik Zero Labs findings, and assisting in the execution of strategic communications initiatives.

What You’ll Do: 

We're looking for interns who are curious, who want to be entrusted with real responsibility, and who embrace the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. 

  • Edit, publish, and promote findings from technical analyses conducted by Rubrik Zero Labs threat researchers and engineers for broader industry consumption.
  • Conduct original research on cyber and AI-related threats to business continuity among G2K and Fortune 200 companies with an eye toward actionable insights for hardening operations.
  • Assist a small but high-impact team in advancing projects related to business continuity and disaster recovery, software-driven crisis simulations, and threat intelligence integration.
  • Act as a thought leader on broader issues of business resilience, data security, and AI enablement for a target audience of IT and security leaders.
Qualifications & Experience You’ll NeedMust Have Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, communications, journalism, IT or a related field
  • Graduating in Dec 2026 or Spring 2027
  • 3-5 writing samples demonstrating the ability to express complex concepts with clarity, nuance, and a consistent voice
  • An interest in information security and understanding of basic concepts concerning disaster recovery and business continuity, the cyber threat landscape, and fundamentals of IT 
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn, take on unfamiliar roles, and build new skills as required by the evolving expectations placed on the Rubrik Zero Labs teams
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with publishing platforms like Drupal or other experience working with backend publishing platforms
  • A general understanding of and willingness to experiment with the latest AI tools, including LLMs, agents, and copilots
