About the role:

  • Machine learning and AI are the future of technology and we at Anyscale believe that Ray and Anyscale will define this future. As a Technical Writer for the Ray Ecosystem and Anyscale Products, you will envision, design, and ship documentation that makes it possible for developers to build the applications of the future effortlessly and with clarity

  • Anyscale is a user focused company. You’ll be diving into conversations with open source users and developers as well as those using and building our core product. After finding critical gaps in clarity to address  on behalf of these users, you’ll be a scrappy executor working closely with users, customers, engineers, designers, and marketing in order to successfully roll out Anyscale and Ray documentation, usage examples and technical feature announcements

  • Our product is inherently technical, so we’re looking for folks that know how to communicate about technical products with multiple audiences - whether it’s the C-suite or an individual engineer

As apart of this role you will:

  • Define documentation strategy in the machine learning areas of Anyscale and Ray. You’ll drive, prioritize, and execute on an ambitious and impactful product documentation roadmap

  • Take the product documentation strategy to market with the product and eng teams and help drive Ray & Anyscale adoption. You will partner with marketing on webinars, product and engineering on feature launch usage examples and help write blog posts to drive product adoption

  • This role is all about driving clarity around ML and developer workflows. Strong knowledge of the ML ecosystem and experience communicating with Data Scientists / Software/ML Engineers / DevOPs teams is critical. You’ll be responsible for unifying the documentation strategy for Ray and Anyscale’s ML ecosystem including tuning, training, serving, and more

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 4-6 years of work experience (3+ years in Technical Writing and management experience a plus)

  • Strong customer orientation and technical sense, with deep understanding of developer workflow

  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: Working with open-source communities; Infrastructure or SaaS or cloud experience; Have a deep understanding of the Machine learning/AI space; Drove documentations strategy for a rolled out a product or set of features, end to end
