About Browserbase

Browserbase is pioneering the future of web automation infrastructure. We believe AI agents should be able to access software on behalf of people, and that the web browser represents the most universal integration point that exists today and will continue to exist in the future. We're building the critical infrastructure that enables legitimate automation while maintaining trust and security across the web.

Browserbase powers web browsing capabilities for AI agents and applications to help people automate the web. We manage headless browser infrastructure for automations that interact with websites, fill out forms, and replicate user actions. We also created the open source framework, Stagehand, to make it easy for both developers and agents to control a browser.

We reached $1M+ ARR in less than 10 months last year and are continuing to grow fast. Backed by Kleiner Perkins and CRV, our scrappy, fast-moving team is building on our CEO's founding vision to power the world's best AI tools and help everyone automate the web.

Position Overview

This optionally part-time or full-time technical writer role would involve creating clear, comprehensive documentation and content that helps developers understand and effectively use Browserbase's platform, APIs, and tools in an increasingly AI-driven automation landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Blog Content: Contribute to thought leadership content about browser automation, AI agents, and web infrastructure trends for the developer community

  • Developer Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API references, tutorials, and guides that help developers integrate Browserbase's headless browser infrastructure into their applications

  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify documentation gaps and create content that supports product launches and feature releases

Qualifications
  • 3+ years software development experience, strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

  • Experience with headless browser frameworks (Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium)

  • 2-4 years of technical writing experience, preferably in developer-focused SaaS or API documentation

  • Experience creating developer-focused content (blogs, tutorials, videos)

  • Quick turnaround time and excellent communication skills

  • Strong technical writing and communication skills

  • Active presence in developer communities
