Who We Are

Hyperbolic Labs is on a mission to democratize AI by breaking down the barriers to computing power with our Open-Access AI Cloud. By aggregating computing resources across the globe, we offer an innovative GPU marketplace and AI inference service that promise affordability and accessibility for all. As pioneers at the intersection of AI and open-source technology, we believe in an open future where AI innovation is limited only by imagination, not by access to resources. We're looking for forward-thinking individuals who share our passion for making AI universally accessible, secure, and affordable. Join us in building a platform that empowers innovators everywhere to turn their visionary AI projects into reality.

As we prepare for growth after our Series A, our team — led by co-founders with PhDs in AI, Math, and Computer Science — is poised to redefine computing.

About the Role

We're looking for a technical writer who can create content on GPU architectures, distributed training, inference optimization, and AI infrastructure—topics where deep technical understanding drives credibility. You'll hold your own in conversations with AI researchers, validate technical claims before publishing, and engage authentically in communities like Discord and technical forums where our users live.

You'll own content creation across our website, pitch guest posts to publications, like Latent Space & SemiAnalysis, ghostwrite technical thought leadership for our executives, and stay current on what's happening in AI infrastructure. We need someone who can generate ideas independently, research deeply, and ship accurate content quickly. If you're the kind of person who reads arXiv papers for fun and can explain NCCL tuning in plain English, this role is for you.

Who You Are
  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing, developer content, technical content marketing, or similar roles writing for technical audiences

  • Strong technical writing ability for highly technical topics in AI, ML, cloud infrastructure, or developer tools with proven ability to produce technically accurate long-form and short-form content

  • Familiarity with GPUs, AI infrastructure, inference, machine learning, or developer tooling—you understand the technology enough to write about it credibly

  • Exceptional independent research skills with ability to understand complex technical concepts and validate claims with internal teams or AI tools when needed

  • Portfolio of strong writing samples demonstrating depth, clarity, technical credibility, and ability to make complex topics accessible

  • Self-starter mentality—you can generate content ideas without heavy hand-holding and move independently while knowing when to ask questions

  • Genuinely curious and interested in AI, GPUs, and staying current on developments in the space

  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to identify knowledge gaps and proactively seek answers from technical stakeholders

  • Comfortable engaging with highly technical internal teams (engineers, AI researchers) and external technical communities

  • Collaborative and open to feedback with entrepreneurial mindset suited for a fast-moving startup environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience with GPU computing, AI infrastructure, inference systems, or ML tooling

  • Background in AI research, machine learning engineering, or technical roles that provide deep domain expertise

  • Ability to build demos using GPUs, run technical experiments, and turn those experiments into credible technical content

  • Experience pitching and securing guest post placements for backlink building and brand visibility

  • Ability to engage credibly in Discord, Reddit, Hacker News, or other technical communities where AI researchers and developers congregate

  • Understanding of SEO and content optimization workflows, even if not the primary SEO owner

  • Experience supporting executive thought leadership on LinkedIn, X (Twitter), or other professional social platforms

  • Background at startups or high-growth technical companies, particularly in developer tools or infrastructure

  • Track record of producing content that supports brand awareness, growth, and thought leadership goals in technical markets

Hyperbolic is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
