About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Technician to support the assembly, installation, and testing of electronic and mechanical components in a vehicle environment. This is a temporary position ideal for someone mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable following procedures and reporting results. This role will be based in our South San Francisco office. This is a temporary position that is needed for three to four months.

What You'll Do

  • Perform mechanical tasks such as screwing/unscrewing hardware and mounting components.
  • Connect and route cables according to documentation.
  • Use a multimeter to verify continuity, voltage.
  • Assist in attaching electronic systems and harnesses to test vehicles.
  • Follow step-by-step instructions for installations and configurations.
  • Communicate task completion, including reporting any issues, failures, or deviations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical leads as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical assembly.
  • Comfortable using common tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, multimeter, etc.).
  • Ability to read basic diagrams and follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document work clearly.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in vehicle environments.

We are looking for a technician to start in the position immediately and work through the end of April.
