Primary Responsibilities
1. Delivery & Team Leadership (40%)
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology engagements— including data engineering, AI/ML, and analytics — ensuring excellence across scope, timelines, and budget.
- Serve as the technical and delivery owner for multi-disciplinary projects involving data engineering, AI, and analytics.
- Build and mentor a high-performing East Coast technology team, coordinate delivery across onshore and offshore resources.
- Provide hands-on leadership in solution design, architecture, modeling, and deployment.
- Establish delivery governance, quality standards, and a culture of accountability, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior life sciences stakeholders, translating complex business problems into platform-enabled technology solutions.
- Develop and expand East Coast client relationships, driving account growth, cross-sell of Twine-powered offerings, and new logo acquisition.
- Drive the enhancement, scalability, and go-to-market of Twine, including product roadmap contributions, platform monetization strategy, and SaaS delivery readiness.
- Lead proposal development, capability presentations, and account growth efforts.
- Architect and implement modern data warehouses, data lakes, and analytics platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP using tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Spark.
- Design and deploy AI-powered solutions including GenAI applications, LLM-based workflows RAG pipelines grounded in proprietary data with vector databases and agentic AI architecture for commercial and operational use cases.
- Develop enterprise-grade APIs, data pipelines, and decision automation layers that integrate with Twine’s platform ecosystem.
- Establish AI safety, governance, and observability practices for production AI systems.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI frameworks and feed emerging capabilities into the ongoing Twine product roadmap.
- Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in technology consulting, life sciences analytics, or enterprise data architecture with proven track record leading and delivering large-scale data and AI initiatives in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Demonstrated experience with AI/ML solution design, including LLMs, GenAI pipelines, RAG architectures with vector databases, agentic AI orchestration (CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph), and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
- Deep understanding of life sciences datasets (Sales, claims, CRM, marketing).
- Executive presence with effective communication and client advisory skills.
- Experience building or scaling technology-enabled platforms strongly preferred.
- Prefer candidates on the East Coast or SF Bay Area
- Experience with governance and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, GxP).
- Prior experience in biopharma digital transformation, or omnichannel orchestration; active engagement with the AI community (open-source, publications, conferences).
- Expertise in API architecture, MCP (Model Context Protocol), tool-use architecture, AI agent orchestration, or multi-agent system design.
- Prior involvement in platform product development or GTM strategy.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $200,000 – $280,000 per year. Generous incentive compensation structure.
