About this role

The Digital Solutions team is responsible for the strategy and execution of many of the firm’s collaboration and content management technology solutions. The team is central to BlackRock’s Microsoft 365 enterprise enablement program, improving the employee digital experience as a result. We collaborate with various cross-functional technical teams around the world to deliver secure and scalable technology services.

The Digital Solutions team has three verticals: Productivity, Collaboration and Business Solutions, and aligns it to the Digital Workplace AI organization.

The Role and the impact –

Sitting at the intersection of business, engineering, and enterprise-scale content management, the Collaboration Solutions team is responsible for defining, enhancing, and governing the firm’s collaboration and content platforms — including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Loop, Box, NetDocuments, Diligent Boards, Atlassian Confluence, and other SaaS applications.

As a Product Specialist/Manager, you will shape the evolution of BlackRock’s collaboration ecosystem through datadriven prioritization, AIpowered modernization, strong vendor and systems oversight, and a relentless focus on user experience, governance, and operational resilience. You will contribute directly to the product lifecycle: discovery, requirements, backlog creation, roadmap definition, feature delivery, change enablement, and adoption measurement.

You will partner closely with engineering, information security, compliance, enterprise architecture, and vendor teams to ensure collaboration systems remain scalable, reliable, and compliant — while introducing nextgeneration AI capabilities and connectors that unlock efficiency and enterprise knowledge access.

This is an individual contributor role suited for an experienced midcareer product professional who thrives in a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, highquality, and timely delivery.

The expectations --

  • Evaluate emerging collaboration, content management, and AI technologies; translate opportunities into enhancements across our product stack and operational processes.

  • Manage the full product lifecycle across collaboration platforms — backlog creation, user story writing, prioritization, and iterative delivery aligned with business needs.

  • Drive and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring alignment to enterprise strategy, governance requirements, and crossfunctional dependencies.

  • Monitor platform performance, security, compliance, and data integrity in partnership with engineering, information security, compliance, and audit stakeholders

  • Lead usage and adoption analytics across SharePoint, Box, NetDocuments, and related platforms to inform product direction and continuous improvement.

  • Produce highquality technical documentation, system definitions, business process documentation, and release notes.

  • Manage vendors and SaaS partners — escalating issues, advocating for enhancements, and ensuring contract and service accountability.

  • Provide endtoend production support for collaboration systems including outage coordination, stakeholder communications, vendor triage, and rootcause followup

  • Contribute to enterprise onboarding, governance, change management, and configuration management processes for collaboration platforms.

What you’ll need --

  • 5–8 years of experience in product management, enterprise technology operations, content management systems, or digital workplace platforms.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including partnering with engineering, compliance, legal, UX, and support teams.

  • Strong knowledge of collaboration technologies — M365, SharePoint Online, Box, NetDocuments, Confluence Wiki, Diligent Boards, and enterprise content governance.

  • Ability to balance business analysis with technical product management — translating complex feedback into actionable requirements.

  • A continuous-improvement mindset, with the ability to deliver highquality work in a fastpaced, hybridwork environment.

  • Demonstrated experience writing user stories, defining requirements, and managing backlogs in an Agile environment.

  • Excellent technical writing capabilities — able to create system documentation, standards, governance materials, and user-facing collateral.

Preferred Qualifications --

  • Experience evaluating and introducing AI capabilities, connectors, or automation solutions within enterprise ecosystems.

  • Experience with enterprise change management, configuration management, and compliance frameworks (audit, security, privacy).

  • Strong vendor management and SaaS lifecycle management experience, including contract coordination and escalation management.

  • Ability to analyze system performance, usage patterns, and adoption data to inform product improvements.

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Azure AD/M365 admin concepts, and enterprise workflows for production support (incident, problem, rootcause processes).

For Atlanta, GA Only the salary range for this position is USD$112,000.00 - USD$140,000.00 .
