Job Description

Title: Teradata DBA

Location: San Francisco, CA

Job Description:

· Teradata DB administration Task like user, database, role, profile setup and maintenance.

· Experience in Security and Space management (Partitioning, Data Compression).

· Performance & DB Monitoring (Handling experience in db locks issue, priority scheduling, Query Tuning, Query log analyzer).

· ARC Main for DB Back and Restoration and BAR solution.

· DB performance, DB Growth and usage report generation (PMCP – performance monitoring & Capacity Planning reports), Data Skew Reports.

· Ferret, DBS Console, Check Table.

· Teradata Administrator, Teradata Manager, PMON, BTEQ, Load utilities (Fast load, Multi Load, TPUMP), Teradata Sql Assistant.

· TASM and Teradata, Work Load Manager , TPT

· Well versed with View Point for DB monitoring.

· Should be able to take up lead role for one of the application sector

· Should understand onsite: offshore delivery model

· Excellent communication skills
