Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking experienced Test Engineers to join our team in Endicott, NY, as we expand our production and development projects. This role involves developing and supporting production acceptance tests for complex control and power electronics systems. As a Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
The successful candidate will:
  • Demonstrate technical ownership of production test on multiple complex programs.
  • Support test technicians with difficult troubleshoot of complex problems.
  • Provide training, guidance and mentoring to test technicians.
  • Perform basic updates or modifications to existing test scripts
  • Communicate technical information clearly to stake holders
  • Support Test Engineering Manager in planning necessary production test resources to support contract commitments including coordinating new purchases and repair and maintenance of existing equipment.
  • Ensure commitment to our "Total customer satisfaction" quality policy.
  • Must be self-directed and have the ability to organize workload to develop a plan to maximize efficiency of performing tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as the candidate acts as an interface with internal and external customers.
  • Candidate must have flexible schedule and exceptional work ethic to respond to the challenges of a dynamic environment.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • 2 year technical degree
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work independently as part of a larger team
  • Self directed

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • BSEE or similar 4 year technical degree
  • Experience working in a production test environment on military flight controls
  • Experience working with CsGTI, NI TestStand, Labview, Visual Basic or similar test executives and programming languages utilized in the Test Engineering discipline.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $59023 - $100339
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
