Responsibilities
- Independently develop test plans, procedures, and methods for SRAM product testing
- Collaborate with engineers to design, build, manage, and continuously improve automated development test systems for mechatronic devices
- Characterize product behavior, analyze test data, and communicate results to support product development
- Resolve complex engineering issues associated with testing
- Apply statistics and reliability principles to develop test plans
- Independently write, review, and release test procedures
- Incorporate continuous improvement concepts, systems, and tools into daily work
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in test execution and issue management
- Experience with mechatronic and sensing technologies
- Experience with electronics, PCBAs, and firmware/software (preferred, not required)
- TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- LabVIEW and/or Python (application development, scripting, and modules)
- 3D modeling
- Failure analysis
- COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Base salary starting at $75,000 with the potential to go up to 60% higher based on experience and skills
- Eligible for annual corporate bonus based on company and individual performance
- WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL:
- On-site role in Colorado Springs, CO -- relocation expected for non-local candidates
- Open floor plan office environment and test lab setting with exposure to machinery
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally required (approximately 1-3 one-week trips per year)
