In your role, you will:
• Support new aircraft program development and in service aircraft in all thermodynamics related issues.
• These include aircraft ice/fog protection systems performance, zonal pressure, temperature and flowrate analysis, avionics cooling, and general thermal analysis of systems and structures.
• It requires understanding of the systems that are being analyzed and how they interface with the aircraft and other aircraft systems.
• It also requires communicating with internal systems/structures groups, system suppliers, and flight test teams to resolve issues, plan tests, analyze and certify modifications.
• More specifically, this position is to help the Global 7000 / 8000 thermodynamic team support the activities related to bleed air systems (wing ice protection system, environmental control system, ducting system, etc.).

Qualifications – Internal
As our ideal candidate,
• You must possess a bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• A Master's degree including courses in fluid dynamics, atmospheric icing and heat transfer would be an asset.
• You have knowledge of MS Office software and familiarity with the various aircraft pneumatics systems and their modeling is essential.
• Familiarity with CATIA V5 and with programming languages such as Fortran 77/95, Visual Basic and C/C++ would be an asset.
• You must possess good interpersonal skills as well as good written and oral communication skills.
• You must be available to travel on short term assignments.
