About RYZE:

The Role:

The Role

We're looking for a fast-moving, highly creative, and strategy-minded TikTok Strategist & Creator to own and grow our TikTok presence with content that is culturally relevant, original, and built to perform.

We need someone who understands that TikTok is its own world, knows how to spot opportunities early, and can turn ideas into content quickly without sacrificing quality or brand fit. This person should be equal parts creator, strategist, trend translator, and performance thinker.

A core focus of this role is helping RYZE expand its reach into a Gen Z audience – without abandoning the brand's established 30+ community. You'll need to understand both audiences, create content that resonates across them, and know when to speak to each distinctly.

You'll help shape the brand's TikTok voice, develop content concepts that are native to the platform, manage execution from idea to posting, and constantly look for ways to improve performance based on what is actually working.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the day-to-day TikTok content strategy and execution

  • Develop original, platform-native content ideas that align with brand goals and audience interests — with a deliberate lens on Gen Z relevance and growth

  • Identify trends, sounds, formats, creator behaviors, and cultural moments worth acting on, particularly those with strong Gen Z traction

  • Move quickly from concept to execution, often turning around ideas in real time

  • Create or direct engaging short-form videos designed for strong watch time, shares, saves, and conversation

  • Write hooks, captions, on-screen text, and content briefs that are optimized for TikTok

  • Develop content strategies and series that can attract and retain a younger audience while staying true to RYZE's brand identity

  • Manage the TikTok content calendar while staying flexible enough to jump on timely opportunities

  • Collaborate with internal teams, creators, editors, and brand stakeholders — including our part-time skit creator — to bring ideas to life

  • Be on camera when needed, or direct talent/creators to capture content in a way that feels natural and engaging

  • Analyze content performance and use insights to refine future creative direction, including tracking Gen Z audience growth metrics

  • Help define what the brand should and should not do on TikTok

  • Test new content formats, storytelling styles, and series concepts to find repeatable winners — especially formats with Gen Z resonance

  • Stay deeply tapped into TikTok culture, while knowing how to adapt trends in a way that feels smart, not forced

  • Travel to Tier 1 events, activations, and brand experiences as needed to capture real-time content and support on-site social execution

What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in TikTok content creation, social strategy, or social media management

  • Proven track record of creating or managing TikTok content that performs

  • Demonstrated experience growing or engaging a Gen Z audience on TikTok — you understand how they use the platform, what they respond to, and what feels inauthentic to them

  • Strong instinct for what makes content feel native to TikTok versus overly polished or overly branded

  • Ability to think strategically about multi-audience content — knowing when to create broad appeal content and when to speak to a specific demographic

  • Deep understanding of TikTok storytelling, hooks, pacing, editing style, and audience behavior

  • Strong creative judgment and a sharp eye for what is interesting, timely, and worth posting

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly

  • Able to generate ideas independently and execute from end-to-end

  • Strong writing skills for short-form scripts, captions, and creative briefs

  • Comfortable analyzing metrics and translating performance into action — including audience demographic shifts

  • Highly organized and able to balance planned content with reactive content

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative, brand, influencer, or paid teams is a plus

  • Proficient in AI platforms

  • Video editing or content capture skills are a plus

  • Experience being on camera or directing on-camera talent
