Pay Range: $110,000-$125,000/annually DOE
Schedule/Shift
: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
 
Location: San Diego, California (Corporate HQ is in Mission Valley San Diego)
 

Benefits & Wellbeing

  • Oversee design and administration of health, welfare, retirement, and wellness programs
  • Evaluate and optimize vendor relationships and benefits offerings for cost and employee value
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, etc.)

Analytics & Governance

  • Establish metrics and dashboards to measure effectiveness of total rewards programs (e.g., cost, participation, ROI, turnover impact)
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and audit readiness across all programs

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and develop the total rewards team (benefits, payroll where applicable)
  • Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and expense planning
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and the executive team

Qualifications: 

Education & Licensure

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in benefits or total rewards
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred)
  • Working knowledge of benefits regulations

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities
  • Expertise in quality improvement methodologies and regulatory compliance
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Data-driven decision-making and performance management
  • Experience with EMR-preferably Homecare Homebase, understanding analytics and key insights and interpretation of data.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel
  • Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
  • Knowledge of corporate business management.
