We are seeking a detail-oriented Training and Document Control Specialist to build and maintain robust training programs and document control systems that ensure compliance, employee competency, and operational excellence from day one at this new manufacturing site.

This is for Shift 1 (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm)
 

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

•  Develop, deliver, and maintain role-specific training programs for photonic semiconductor manufacturing processes, cleanroom protocols, safety, quality standards, and environmental management

•  Manage the full document lifecycle: creation, review, approval, revision, distribution, and archival of all controlled documents (SOPs, work instructions, policies, and records)

•  Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) and maintain accurate, up-to-date employee training records, certifications, and competency matrices

•  Conduct training needs assessments and gap analyses in partnership with production, maintenance, engineering, and EHS teams

•  Perform internal audits and support external audits (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, customer, and regulatory) for training effectiveness and document compliance

•  Ensure 100% compliance with regulatory requirements and Nokia global standards through proactive tracking and reporting

•  Drive continuous improvement of training materials and document control processes in alignment with process changes and site ramp-up needs

Additional Responsibilities

  • Onboarding set up new hires for training.
  • Train and certify new hires and operations certifications.
  • Perform on the floor audit to ensure that operators follow and adhere to operations specs and procedure.
  • Assist in investigation and RCCA of PQM and quality incidents.
  • Hold monthly “Fab School: continuous improvement training.
  • Develop new operation specs and update existing specs for FAB-2
  • Work with Document Control to help upload CN requests to DC folder.
  • Training and certifications record keeping of WFAB/DFAB/ASSM/TEST operators for ISO certifications.
  • Track and remove expired CN’s, ECN’s and Communication Bulletins from FAB
  • Review and update existing online competency exams.
  • Create new competency exams for new equipment.
  • Develop new operation specs and update existing operation specs.
  • Create new exams for new equipment and new products.
  • Provide support in getting future clean rooms physically ready for operations (workstations, supplies, etc.)
  • Support bring-up future Fab including phasing of techs & operators to future Fab as we gradually start-up and then ramp each area.


 Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in semiconductor or photonic device manufacturing

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities both verbal and written

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
