Note: This position is hyrbid - in office in San Diego, CA 2x per month. All applicants must possess an active real estate license in CA. 

As a Transaction Coordinator, you will work on a team that oversees all compliance and administrative details throughout the listings and transaction process. The support our Transaction Coordinators provide allows our Agents to focus on building client relationships and advancing their businesses. Our team provides full-service support and acts as the central point of contact for all relevant stakeholders and ensures a smooth path to closing. From document preparation, to deadline tracking, to regular updates to all parties, to a transaction, your goal is to make life easier for agents and clients every step of the way. You will also work hand in hand with local lenders, attorneys, and title companies, bringing extensive experience and strong industry contacts to each and every contract you process.

At Compass You Will: 

  • Handle document tracking for a large volume of real estate transactions from listing to close, and/or contract to close, ensuring compliance with brokerage and legal requirements
  • Ensure real estate contracts are processed properly and in a timely matter, with a focus on the details
  • Manage and track contract deadlines to ensure all timelines are met
  • Navigate company systems to validate accuracy of compliance and commission records
  • Provide support to Agents in response to inquiries regarding commission payouts, deductions, and commission calculations
  • Collaborate with sales managers and other support teams to offer outstanding support to the agents

What We Are Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in a real estate transaction-processings function, coordination, accounting, or payroll function preferred
  • CA real estate license required
  • Familiarity with standard real estate forms used in CA
  • Strong written, quantitative, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to digest detailed contracts and make informed decisions based on content
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of Agent’s contract data
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Customer service-oriented personality
  • Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • B.A. or B.S. degree preferred 

Compensation:

The expected base pay for this position is $32.00 - 36.00 pr/hr. This range reflects our good-faith estimate of what we intend to offer for this role at the time of posting. Final offers within this range will depend on job-related factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity. Additional compensation elements, such as bonuses, commissions, or equity grants, may be available, along with a full benefits program. We remain committed to fair pay practices and compliance with all California transparency requirements.
