Job Title

Travel Seller Media Analyst

The Travel Seller Media Analyst role is responsible for multiple functions that are under the purview of the Travel Seller Media Customer Delivery Analysis team. The Travel Seller Media Analyst will be cross trained on and tasked with creating actionable internal and external customer reports, minimize financial risk through under delivery management, act as in-house ad manager expert, assist in customer delivery technical enhancements/testing, overflow media planning and ad creation. The Travel Seller Media Analyst will have excellent communication skills and be able to prioritize according to business needs. An understanding of the Global Distribution Systems and hospitality data/analytics experience is a plus. This person must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

The Travel Seller Media Analyst plays a crucial role in team success and must have an in-depth understanding of the product and processes to maximize returns for the global client base and thereby, retention. This is a hybrid position and would require you to be in the San Jose office 50% of the time.

Responsibilities:

40% - ad trafficking / ad server support and daily/weekly/monthly tasks

40% - Risk management

15% -Overflow operational and customer performance reporting at peak seasons

5% - Overflow strategist support on basic media planning and graphical ad creation

About the ideal candidate:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study; may include Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Business Intelligence, Communications

Minimum of 3 years of relevant media experience.

Minimum of 3 years in a client facing role, with a demonstrated passion for innovation, strategy, thinking outside of the box and establishing positive customer relationships, every time.

Minimum 3 years of experience with successful management of projects through organization, multi-tasking, prioritization, communication, and time management skills.

Good understanding of market trends and hospitality KPIs. Media experience in the Hospitality industry a major advantage.

Ability to evaluate data trends, understand and evaluate budget/results, upsells, ROAS, margins and KPIs and other numeric data effectively.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Able to understand the statistics & troubleshoot the data to identify the way forward.

Need to stay updated, ways of optimizing campaigns and market trends.
