Flex is focused on mid-market businesses ($3 - $100M revenue) that are largely overlooked by existing fintech solutions and reliant on slow and outdated regional banks. We are targeting a ~$1T revenue opportunity that is largely up for grabs.

🕺 About the Role
As a Travel Specialist at Flex, you will collaborate with Flex cardmembers to respond to their requests, design memorable experiences, craft bespoke travel itineraries, and arrange soothing retreats in their ideal home-away-from-home.
Be Creative: Envision and design extraordinary travel adventures for our cardmembers, turning imaginative ideas into extraordinary realities. Be Transparent: Report on key successes, challenges, pipeline details, metrics, and forecasts with the team to foster collaboration and collectively address any obstacles. Responsiveness: As the client facing representative of Flex Travel, you will ensure fast response times, precise communication, and delivering results.
Influence Product: Flex cardmembers are passionate about travel and adventure. As a Travel Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to use your industry expertise to curate unforgettable experiences for our cardmembers.
✅ What You’ll Do
- Speak with clients to determine travel needs, budgets, and preferences.
- Oversee the sale and coordination of transportation, accommodations, insurance, tours, and activities.
- Offer clients insights on destinations, cultural norms, customs, weather, and activities.
- Manage payment collection, arrange travel bookings, and facilitate payments of necessary fees.
- Resolves travel issues, conflicts, complaints, cancellations, and refunds with vendors.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with travel and tour vendors.
- Stay up to date on the latest in travel trends.
- Maintain records and ensure accurate documentation of bookings, payments, transactions, and client/vendor interactions.
⚡️ What You Bring
- Demonstrated success in sales and white-glove service.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Skilled in effective negotiation.
- Extensive knowledge of travel reservation/booking platforms.
- Highly effective problem-solving skills.
- Exceptionally precise, accurate, and detail-oriented.
- Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- At least 5 years experience booking and coordinating international and domestic luxury group travel.
- Fluent in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Experience coordinating music tours or adhering to business travel policies a plus.
- Though the position is remote, you must be available during US timezone business hours.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in tourism, travel, hospitality, business, or a related field, or a minimum of five years (5+) of relevant work experience as a travel agent.
- Current with any applicable state licensing, certificates, and registration requirements.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
