We are looking for a UI Developer to build engaging, responsive, and accessible interfaces for our client's enterprise e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate has strong JavaScript and React experience, working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and a strong design sensibility.

This role is primarily focused on maintaining, updating, and improving the existing product, with some involvement in new feature development. This person should bring a broad range of front-end experience and be comfortable jumping in to support various initiatives as priorities shift.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintain, update, and improve existing UIs for our client's e-commerce platform using React, with some work in AEM
  • Debug and resolve front-end issues across browsers and devices; optimize for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Analyze functional/technical design docs and UI wireframes for new features and enhancements
  • Translate design concepts and business requirements into polished, functional interfaces
  • Build reusable components and contribute to a scalable design system, including new AEM components as needed
  • Handle edge cases, error states, and dynamic data s cenarios
  • Collaborate with UX designers and engineers on requirements and implementation
  • Document components and maintain style guides for consistency

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years working in a UI Developer or Front End Engineer focused role
  • Extensive JavaScript experience and modern frameworks and libraries such as React
  • Responsive design expertise across devices and screen sizes, as well as cross-browser compatibility knowledge
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
  • Experience with UI development tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Experience building and maintaining design systems or reusable component libraries
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Problem-solving and debugging abilities
