Job Description

We are looking for experienced front-end UI Engineers for mobile iOS platform. You will help us launch new, state-of-the-art wearable devices and platforms, including augmented reality, fitness coaching, and other comprehensive wearable technologies. As Senior UX/UI Mobile Developer you will work directly with our product, design and test teams to develop a platform for creating the most innovative wearable products. You will be working with enthusiastic and experienced peers in an environment that facilitates delivering industry-leading solutions with both creative-edge and high quality. 

What You Will Be Doing 

  • Use Swift to developing native iOS applications with optimal performance and battery usage 
  • Tying the application to the back-end services provided by Intel's new wearable platform 
  • Contributing to platform UI/UX specifications 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. 
  • Validating your code for robustness, including testing edge cases, usability, and general - reliability. 
  • Collaborating with remote global teams, including device, cloud, test, etc. to innovate new technologies with maximum development efficiency. 

Qualifications

  • Strong iOS applications development skills, fluency in Swift (you can program now!) 
  • Extensive experience working with iOS UI design frameworks, including NS framework, UI Kit 
  • Low-level knowledge of iOS functioning including background execution 
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQLite/Core Data 
  • Experience developing large-scale native mobile apps on Apple iOS 
  • Experience optimizing for performance, compact code and low battery usage 
  • Strong knowledge of Apple ecosystem and platform specific details 
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle 
  • Essential Object Oriented analysis and design skills, including concurrency, multi-threading, defensive programming 
  • Experience publishing at least one iPhone and/or iPad application on the App Store (you know what it takes) 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Architecture, or related major, or equivalent experience 

Additional Preferred Qualifications 

  • You have a Github account showcasing your creative skills and past projects. 
  • Strong portfolio with examples of well thought design for mobile applications 


Nice to have — ASPIRATIONAL SKILLS 

  • Experience with Bluetooth LE protocol 
  • Knowledge of Android platform and Android SDK 
  • Ability to understand and parse XML, JSON and serialized data 
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services and Cloud Services 
  • Master’s Degree or another advanced degree is preferred
