EyeTell is a new startup brought to you by Chad Hurley, the Co-Founder and former CEO of YouTube. We are building something new at the intersection of AI and mixed media and are looking for a passionate and dynamic UI Engineer with Swift expertise to join our small team.

You will be joining at the ground floor, which is an exciting time! However, because of this, we expect teammates to be in the office most of the time, so if you seek remote-only or remote-mostly, this is not the droid you are looking for.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled UI/Swift Engineer with a passion for rapid prototyping and crafting engaging user interfaces for macOS and iOS. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and iterating on UI concepts using Swift and SwiftUI. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with evolving project requirements and changing directions to deliver innovative solutions. Experience in Objective-C is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Rapidly prototype and iterate on new macOS and iOS UI features using Swift and SwiftUI.

  • Collaborate closely with design and product teams to implement elegant and functional user interfaces across both platforms.

  • Be flexible in adapting to changing requirements and directions while maintaining a strong focus on delivering high-quality code.

  • Debug and optimize existing applications to enhance user experience and ensure smooth functionality on macOS and iOS.

  • Continuously explore and integrate new frameworks and technologies to improve development efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of real-world coding experience in iOS and macOS development.

  • Demonstrated experience in shipping apps to the Apple App Store and Mac App Store.

  • Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, with a solid understanding of UI development principles across macOS and iOS.

  • Experience with rapid prototyping and adapting to evolving project needs.

  • Knowledge of Objective-C is a bonus but not required.

  • A strong sense of design and user experience, with a passion for creating engaging and intuitive UIs.

  • Problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package

  • The equity upside of an early stage startup

  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology

  • Free lunch everyday in the office

  • Collaborative and supportive work environment

  • Chance to make a real impact on a growing company

  • Work with a team of talented and passionate individuals

To Apply:

Please say hello by sending your resume to [email protected].

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
