About the Role

  • 20 hrs/week

  • Unpaid, 6 month leadership program

  • Fully remote

  • Marketing team

  • OPT/CPT eligible

  • Able to commit to weekly 60-minute meetings (PST); Monday & Friday @10am Company Program Meeting, Monday @9am Team Meeting, Tuesday @10am Content Sync, Thursday @10am Team Deepwork, and several 1:1 coachings

Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive, user-centered digital interfaces aligned with product and business objectives.

  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and internal platforms.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points and improve user experience.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure seamless design implementation.

  • Develop and maintain design systems and UI standards to ensure consistency across platforms.

  • Translate complex processes into simple, efficient, and engaging user experiences.

  • Iterate designs based on user feedback, performance insights, and stakeholder input.

  • Support digital product strategy through experience-driven design thinking.

  • Manage multiple design projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

  • Stay current with UI/UX trends, tools, accessibility standards, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or related field (or currently pursuing).

  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Canva, or similar).

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability standards.

  • Ability to translate research insights into functional and visually appealing interfaces.

  • Comfort working with web and digital product environments.

  • Strong attention to detail, structure, and user flow consistency.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience conducting usability testing or user interviews.

  • Familiarity with responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG principles).

  • Basic understanding of front-end development concepts (HTML/CSS is a plus).

  • Experience developing design systems or UI component libraries.

  • Understanding of product lifecycle and agile workflows.

  • Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX projects, wireframes, and prototypes.

  • Interest in consulting, product strategy, or digital transformation environments.
