We own and operate a broad array of businesses engaged in recorded music, music publishing, merchandising, and audiovisual content in more than 60 countries. We identify and develop recording artists and songwriters, and we produce, distribute and promote the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful music to delight and entertain fans around the world.

Famehouse, a division of UMG, is the preeminent leader in D2C solutions in music, defining & delivering the industry’s best-in-class service to connect artists with their fans. Established & headquartered in Philly, Famehouse powers D2C for UMG’s labels, artists, and Bravado, along with a select roster of 3rd party clients. Our success & culture is fueled by collaboration—both within FH and with our partners. We are passionate about the impact of D2C & merchandise for artists, providing a full-service solution to grow an artist’s owned business including strategy, creative, storefront merchandising, fulfillment, customer service, technology, and more.

How we LEAD:

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer to design and optimize direct-to-consumer (D2C) online stores for some of the world’s leading artists and labels. You’ll help shape the way fans experience, interact and purchase from their favorite artists through beautifully crafted, high-performing e-commerce experiences.

You’ll be responsible for elevating the artists’ worlds, thinking like a superfan but with razor sharp digital design skills — translating music culture, brand identity, and merchandising into seamless, emotionally engaging online stores that drive sales and fan loyalty.

You’ll work closely with the wider design/motion teams to build out the ultimate fan experience and collaborate with store front developers and back end systems teams to push our sites and stores into better experience for our artist and consumers.

How you'll CREATE:

• Design and iterate on e-commerce experiences — from landing pages and product detail pages to checkout and campaign microsites — that bring artist brands to life.

• Be able to present your ideas clearly and advocate for good interface and experience.

• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance storytelling, usability, and conversion.

• Collaborate with developers, merchandisers, and marketing teams to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and an exceptional end-to-end customer journey.

• Use insights from analytics, A/B testing, and fan feedback to refine and optimize store performance.

• Translate brand and album aesthetics into cohesive digital experiences aligned with campaign visuals and creative direction.

• Advocate for best-in-class UX practices, accessibility, and responsive design across all digital touchpoints.

• Work closely with developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of design solutions.

Bring your VIBE:

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, ideally in e-commerce, entertainment, or consumer brands.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive design, visual design systems, and UX problemsolving.

• Excellent proficiency in Figma/prototyping tools and Adobe Creative Suite

• Good working knowledge of Shopify and/or other D2C e-commerce platforms

• Understanding of digital merchandising, conversion optimization, and checkout flow best practices.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, campaign-driven environment with shifting priorities.

• Experience designing for music artists, record labels, or fan-focused digital products.

• Familiarity with HTML5, JS, CSS.

• Passion for music, culture, and innovation.
