Research and write high-quality content about venture capital markets, funding rounds, funds, investors, portfolio companies, and company investments. Own longer blog posts and investment-related articles, while collaborating with the Head of Brand on publishing, scheduling, and distribution across LinkedIn, the blog, newsletters, and X. The role is remote, async, and designed to develop into a VC analyst and content position.
The summary above was generated by AI

We are hiring a Venture Content Analyst to live in the venture corner of the internet and write about it every day.

Pairs is a global network of family offices, institutional investors, VCs and angels. We screen deal flow very tightly, and the ones that clear our diligence go out to the network. We invest alongside them too.

The role

What were the biggest rounds this week? Which funds moved, and which announcements actually mattered? What shifted in the market, and what went well inside our own company?

Based on that, our content goes deep on a few specific topics. Quality over quantity. It lands on our LinkedIn, the blog on our site, the newsletter and our X.

You report to our Head of Brand and to the co-founders directly. The org is very flat, so you learn straight from us what makes us unique, how the market is shifting, and which trends we catch early.

This seat is built to grow into a VC Analyst and content role of its own. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves the venture capital market, is obsessed with it as much as we are, and cannot wait to write longer pieces and go deeper on the areas that interest them.

What you will own

  • Being exceptionally well informed on new rounds, new funds, and what is happening in the market every single week.

  • The longer posts. Blog articles on the portfolio companies we work with, the investments we make, whether those are LP positions in funds or angel checks into companies, the investors worth knowing, the trends we spot early and the bigger rounds.

  • Working with the Head of Brand on the publishing, the scheduling and the distribution across all our channels.

  • Learning further areas of brand building, and the research that sits behind all of it.

You are a fit if you

  • Already follow this space every day because you enjoy it. You can name the funds, the partners and the rounds from this quarter without looking them up.

  • Already write and research in this space, and turn that into investment memos or articles yourself.

  • Get the facts right. A wrong fund name or round size costs credibility we cannot buy back.

  • Use AI every day, and know where it should go nowhere near your work. Good judgement and taste on where it makes you faster, and where it degrades what you put out.

What we offer

Remote and async.

  • Close contact with the co-founders and our Head of Brand directly.

  • Close contact with our internal team.

  • Our network of highly established investors and the top deals out there.

  • Access to our internal processes.

  • Learning very closely from all of us.
