How we LEAD:
 

We are currently seeking an accomplished Vice President, Finance BI Platform & Analytics leader to standardize and deliver management reporting, dashboards, and analytics capabilities across UMG’s finance function, ensuring globally consistent KPIs, self-service reporting, and data-driven insights that enable performance management and decision-making.
This role requires deep expertise in BI, reporting, and data visualization tools, paired with a strong understanding of finance KPIs, management reporting, and performance management. The ideal candidate can translate business needs into reporting requirements and dashboards, brings experience with AI/ML analytics applications in a finance context, and is comfortable working across both technical (data/IT) and business (finance/operations) stakeholders.

How you’ll CREATE:

  • Standard report & dashboard design: Design and maintain standard management reports, scorecards, and dashboards that can be leveraged across territories/profit centers/business lines, incorporating unique reporting requirements across differentiated business lines and operating models; Enable self-service capabilities for timely ad-hoc analysis

  • Reporting & dashboard delivery: Own generation of recurring management reports and self-service dashboards on timely cadence on behalf of divisions

  • AI analytics use cases: Design and develop new AI-powered analytics use cases for Finance, in coordination with CIO/CDAO

  • Legacy tool rationalization: Drive migration from fragmented reporting tools to standardized enterprise BI platform

  • Finance data domain ownership: Own the finance reporting data model, incl. metric definitions, hierarchies, and calculation logic to ensure a single source of truth for management reporting, in partnership with CDAO and Corporate Controller on data governance, enterprise KPI definitions

  • Cross Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Corp Controllership on shared data foundation to avoid duplication and ensure cohesion and reconcilability to global consolidated results. Partner with CIO and CDAO on BI & Analytics platform implementation to power an AI-enabled reporting and analysis infrastructure. Work with Planning/Forecasting COE and to embed standardized tools and leverage driver-inputs underpinning planning and forecast models and PBF process

  • Team leadership: Build, Lead and mentor a high-performing BI & Analytics COE team

  • 12+ years in BI, analytics, or Finance data roles, including leadership experience

  • Deep expertise in BI, reporting, and data visualization tools

  • Strong understanding of finance KPIs, management reporting, and performance management

  • Ability to translate business needs into reporting requirements & dashboards

  • Experience with AI/ML analytics applications in a finance context

  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale data and reporting platforms and driving adoption by influencing senior stakeholders

  • Comfortable working across technical (data/IT) and business (finance/operations) stakeholders

  • This role is office-based

Salary Range:

$181,650 - $365,000

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.  All candidates are encouraged to apply.
