The Opportunity

Aeris is hiring a Vice President, Demand Generation to build and lead the pipeline engine behind our enterprise business. This role owns enterprise demand generation strategy and execution with accountability for marketing-sourced pipeline and bookings.

Reporting to the CMO, this leader will operate at both strategic and execution levels — equally comfortable presenting pipeline performance to executive leadership and building highly targeted enterprise campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Ownership and Revenue Accountability
  • Own creation of pipeline across ASPs, OEMs, and Enterprises
  • Set pipeline targets, allocate budget across channels, and report on marketing contribution to enterprise bookings
  • Analyze campaign and channel performance to improve enterprise pipeline outcomes and conversion efficiency

Funnel Analytics and Optimization

  • Own full-funnel enterprise metrics including MQL, SAL, SQL, Opportunity, Pipeline, and ARR
  • Diagnose conversion bottlenecks and attribution gaps across long enterprise sales cycles
  • Partner with RevOps to maintain reliable multi-touch attribution and actionable funnel reporting

AI-First Demand Generation

  • Integrate AI into research, personalization, campaign development, reporting automation, and workflow optimization
  • Evaluate and pilot emerging AI tools that improve team effectiveness and execution speed
  • Build scalable operational processes that improve campaign iteration and personalization

SEO, AEO, and Conversion Optimization

  • Lead enterprise organic growth strategy including SEO and AI engine optimization (AEO)
  • Drive conversion optimization across landing pages, gated content, and demo request flows
  • Improve lead-to-pipeline and pipeline-to-close conversion performance

Account-Based Demand Generation Strategy

  • Build and execute multi-channel ABM programs spanning paid media, intent data, executive events, webinars, direct mail/gifting, and thought leadership content 
  • Coordinate messaging and campaign sequencing across enterprise buying groups
  • Tailor messaging across technical and business stakeholders within target accounts

Sales and Marketing Alignment 

  • Partner with enterprise Sales leadership to define funnel stages, handoff criteria, account scoring, and routing
  • Build feedback loops that improve account selection and campaign effectiveness over time
  • Collaborate across Marketing including Communications, Product Marketing, and global channel marketing teams

Qualifications

  • Proven success leading B2B demand generation functions in Tech/SaaS at the Vice President level
  • Experience owning a marketing-sourced pipeline target tied to enterprise revenue outcomes
  • Deep expertise building and operating account-based marketing programs across enterprise sales cycles
  • Strong analytical capability across funnel diagnostics, pipeline forecasting, and conversion optimization
  • Demonstrated experience implementing AI-powered workflows and tooling within demand generation operations
  • Experience leading and developing enterprise demand generation teams
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, and Asana
  • Experience managing agency and vendor relationships with accountability for ROI and performance
  • Ability to operate effectively against pipeline and revenue targets in growth-stage or investor-backed environments

The salary range for this role is $185,000-$250,000 base salary
