About the Role

The Executive Vice President, Government Solutions will serve as the senior-most executive accountable for Hippocratic AI's entire public-sector business — leading the company's strategic expansion across federal, state, and government healthcare programs at scale. This is a C-suite-adjacent role with enterprise-wide influence, requiring a proven operator who can define category leadership, command trust at the highest levels of government, and build and lead a high-performing team.

You will own Hippocratic AI's full government strategy — setting vision and long-range direction across relationship development, partnership formation, complex contracting, large-scale deployment, and sustained program growth. This role sits at the nexus of mission, policy, and innovation, with executive accountability for the vertical's P&L performance, team leadership, and organizational architecture. Particular focus will be placed on agencies and programs serving veterans, active-duty service members, and populations reliant on government healthcare systems.

What You’ll Do
  • Government Growth Strategy & P&L Ownership – Define and drive Hippocratic AI's multi-year government sector strategy, setting revenue targets, investment priorities, and market entry plans across federal and state healthcare programs. Own the vertical's P&L end-to-end.

  • C-Suite & Agency-Level Relationship Leadership – Establish and steward trusted relationships at the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and C-suite level across agencies including VA, DoD/DHA, HHS, CMS, and leading state Medicaid programs. Serve as Hippocratic AI's most senior relationship-holder in the public sector.

  • High-Stakes Deal Architecture & Execution – Lead and close transformational, multi-year contracts and partnership agreements that establish Hippocratic AI as a foundational AI platform for government healthcare delivery at national scale.

  • Cross-Functional Executive Alignment – Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to align product, clinical, engineering, legal, and finance priorities to government sector requirements, ensuring organizational readiness to support mission-critical deployments.

  • Ecosystem, Partner & Coalition Building – Build and lead a strategic alliance ecosystem comprising prime contractors, systems integrators, policy advocacy organizations, and mission-aligned partners that amplify reach and accelerate adoption.

  • Policy, Regulatory & Market Leadership – Shape the external policy and regulatory environment by engaging with government stakeholders, industry coalitions, and regulatory bodies. Translate policy dynamics into strategic advantage and proactively influence the frameworks governing AI in government healthcare.

  • Product Strategy Influence – Serve as the authoritative voice of the government customer at the executive and board level, channeling deep sector intelligence into Hippocratic AI's product roadmap and long-term platform strategy.

  • Team Building & Organizational Leadership – Recruit, develop, and lead a world-class government solutions team, creating the talent, operating model, and culture needed to win and retain transformational public-sector programs.

  • External Representation & Thought Leadership – Represent Hippocratic AI at the highest levels of government, industry, and media as a recognized authority on safe, mission-driven AI in healthcare.

What You Bring

Must‑Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Healthcare Policy, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.

  • 18+ years of progressive experience in government-facing business development, public-sector sales, strategic partnerships, or senior program leadership, with significant executive-level tenure.

  • Demonstrated track record of building and leading a government vertical or business unit with direct P&L responsibility and at-scale revenue outcomes.

  • Deep mastery of government healthcare programs, procurement frameworks, and policy landscapes, including VA, DoD/DHA, HHS, CMS, Medicaid, and Medicare.

  • An extensive, high-trust network of C-suite, Deputy Secretary, and Senior Executive Service-level government and industry contacts that can be activated immediately.

  • Exceptional executive presence, board-level communication skills, and a track record of influencing decisions at the highest levels of government and enterprise organizations.

  • Proven ability to build, scale, and inspire high-performance teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Deeply aligned with Hippocratic AI's mission and a demonstrated commitment to improving public health outcomes through responsible AI..

Nice‑to‑Have:

  • Extensive experience leading defense, veteran, or military healthcare programs at scale.

  • Prior executive experience at a high-growth technology or AI company.

  • Current or recent Tier 3 (or higher) security clearance.

  • Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or prior military service.

  • Deep relationships with government systems integrators, prime contractors, and federal health IT ecosystem leaders.

  • Prior senior military service or senior government service background.

Additional Notes
  • This is a foundational executive role that will define Hippocratic AI's long-term public-sector strategy, operating model, and market position. The EVP, Government Solutions will be a key member of the senior leadership team with direct access to the CEO and board on matters of government strategy.

  • Travel is expected to support agency engagement, partner meetings, and industry events.

  • Location: National Capital Region (DC, MD, Virginia)
