BGB Group

Vice President I/II

Our Agency

BGB is a healthcare communications agency that offers a wide range of services, including traditional pharmaceutical advertising, promotional medical education, payer marketing, and consulting services. Known for excellence and professionalism, we’re hired as strategic and creative partners by our biopharmaceutical clients to drive category/brand awareness and growth.

Who We Are

At BGB Group, we don’t just analyze the healthcare landscape - we shape it.

Our Innovation x Intelligence (IxI) division is a small, fast-moving team that works like a start-up - agile, curious, and ambitious - but with the backing of two industry powerhouses: BGB Group and Kx Advisors. That means you get the best of both worlds: the freedom to explore bold thinking, and the creative and strategic firepower to turn it into action. We bring together strategists, consultants, behavioral scientists, innovation experts, and tech specialists to tackle the big, thorny questions in healthcare - helping biopharma clients unlock smarter, braver strategies that improve the lives of people living with disease. We go deep - using bespoke AI-powered tools to uncover the unknowns that shift thinking, reframe decisions, and open up new possibilities.

“We’re a small team, and we’re all very different-but what unites us is this weird, shared joy in cracking hard problems that actually help people.”

Who This Role is For

This role is for the question-askers. The curious. The culturally attuned. The ones who care.
💭 You love big, juicy problems that don’t come with obvious answers.
🌍 You’re plugged into the world - curious about how brands behave, why people make the choices they do, and how culture influences commerce.
🔍 You were that kid in class - the one with another question, the one who got excited to be wrong because it meant learning something new.
❤️ And, most importantly, you want to use your skills for something that matters. You’re energized by the idea of making life better for people living with disease - and helping healthcare brands live up to their potential.
💡 You see strategy and creativity as allies, not opposites. You're comfortable with ambiguity, fueled by insight, and energized by finding a smarter way through.

The Role

As a Vice President, you’ll help the world’s top biopharma companies solve some of their biggest brand and business challenges. From redefining brand strategy to exploring patient behavior, from future-scaping therapeutic categories to shaping commercial narratives - you’ll work on a wide spectrum of projects with real-world impact. And you won’t be doing it alone. You’ll join a collaborative, idea-rich team who’ll challenge your thinking, support your growth, and probably make you laugh along the way.

What You’ll Do

  • Grow the Business – Turn relationships and ideas into tangible commercial outcomes
  • Crack Big Strategic Questions – Help define how healthcare brands show up, grow, and lead
  • Get Stuck into Research – Conduct interviews, moderate focus groups, analyze reports, and connect dots across data sources
  • Go Beyond the Obvious – Use custom-built AI tools to uncover hidden patterns, untapped insights, and strategic whitespace
  • Turn Insight into Impact – Build smart, sharp recommendations that clients can actually use
  • Work Across Disciplines – Collaborate with behavioral scientists, creatives, technologists, and strategic leads across BGB and Kx
  • Bring Ideas to Life – Go beyond decks to deliver clear, compelling stories that land
  • Be Part of the Culture – Learn, share, experiment, support, question, and grow

How You’ll Do It

  • Focus on growing IxI within areas of concentration including market opportunity assessments, go-to-market strategy, and/or competitive strategy
  • Work in close partnership with other senior leaders across solutions and technology to strategically grow core client accounts and develop new business
  • Leverage institutional knowledge, subject-matter expertise, and business acumen to produce superior project outcomes
  • Support development of intellectual capital to emphasize IxI’s unique value proposition in the marketplace
  • Motivate, coach, and serve as a role model for junior talent
  • Manage profitability at the project and practice level

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree-life sciences, psychology, business, or a related field. A Master’s is a plus
  • 8-10 years' experience in a relevant space-this could mean healthcare consulting, research, pharma or biotech, medical comms, behavioral science, or academia with real-world application
  • An established network of strong client relationships within the healthcare sector
  • A strategic and curious mindset – You don’t stop at the first answer. You dig, question, and connect the dots
  • Analytical agility – Comfortable moving between qualitative insight and quantitative data
  • A self-starting attitude – You take initiative, stay organized, and aren’t afraid to get stuck in
  • Strong collaboration skills – You enjoy bouncing ideas, building on others’ thinking, and working as part of a team

Why Join Us

  • Small team energy, big company support – Backed by BGB and Kx, with access to world-class creative, insight, and innovation capabilities
  • High-impact work, early responsibility – You’ll contribute from day one on projects that matter
  • A learning-first culture – Mentorship, peer support, and space to grow
  • A genuinely fun, curious environment – We take the work seriously, not ourselves
  • Creative meets strategic – This is a space where brand thinking, behavioral science, and big data collide
  • A future-facing mission – Everything we do aims to improve the lives of people living with disease

If you're ready to bring curiosity, strategy, and creativity together to reimagine healthcare-and make a real difference to people’s lives-let’s talk.
