About the Role  

CAIS is seeking a Vice President, Liquidity Solutions to help build and scale the firm's liquidity solutions ecosystem across private markets. As investor demand for liquidity, portfolio optimization, and flexible access to private markets continues to grow, CAIS is uniquely positioned to connect advisors, asset managers, liquidity providers, and technology partners through a modern platform experience. 

The Vice President, Liquidity Solutions will serve as a strategic leader responsible for expanding CAIS's liquidity capabilities, developing ecosystem partnerships, supporting advisor adoption, and helping design the workflows and technology that make liquidity solutions more accessible across wealth management. This role sits at the intersection of private markets, capital markets, product strategy, and distribution. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Product, Capital Markets, Operations, Technology, and Sales teams to drive activation and adoption of liquidity solutions across the CAIS platform. 

Responsibilities 

 Serve as CAIS's subject matter expert on private markets liquidity solutions, including secondaries, continuation vehicles, tender offers, GP-led transactions, LP-led transactions, and emerging liquidity structures. 

  • Develop relationships with asset managers, liquidity providers, secondaries firms, placement agents, and strategic ecosystem partners. 
  • Identify and evaluate new liquidity opportunities and partnerships that enhance the CAIS platform. 
  • Partner with Product and Technology teams to build scalable advisor workflows and platform capabilities. 
  • Support advisor education, thought leadership, and go-to-market initiatives related to liquidity solutions. 
  • Collaborate with Capital Markets and Sales teams on client engagement and adoption strategies. 
  • Leverage data, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve workflow efficiency and platform scalability. 
  • Represent CAIS externally at industry conferences, partner meetings, and client events. 

 Qualifications 

  • 5-8+ years of experience in private markets, secondaries, capital markets, alternative investments, or related fields. 
  • Deep understanding of private markets liquidity solutions and market participants. 
  • Experience working with asset managers, private market platforms, investment banks, secondaries firms, or wealth management organizations. 
  • Strong relationship management and partnership development skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups and drive strategic initiatives. 
  • Passion for leveraging technology and innovation to improve private markets access and investor outcomes.

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $175,000 - $200,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.  

CAIS offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes generously subsidized healthcare, dental and vision insurance, an employer matched retirement plan, wellness programs, and generous PTO and parental leave. Additionally, CAIS offers a flexible, hybrid in-office model; for most roles, we do require a minimum of 3 days in office per week.
