Givzey:

Givzey, which is recognized as one of the fastest-growing and most innovative platforms serving nonprofits, is on a mission to help organizations unlock more generosity through smarter, autonomous, and more personalized giving experiences.

The company, founded only three years ago, delivers two flagship products. Givzey’s Gift Agreement Platform transforms and simplifies the multi-year gift process, empowering nonprofits to secure, manage, and forecast multi-year commitments with unprecedented ease. Givzey’s Version2.ai invented the world’s first Autonomous AI fundraisers, known as Virtual Engagement Officers (VEOs), which independently generate revenue. Unlike AI enablement tools that enhance staff efficiency, Version2's autonomous approach expands capacity through AI workers that operate donor portfolios independently, raising $4M+ to date, including individual gifts as large as $45,000.

Givzey is led by CEO Adam Martel, who previously founded and scaled another successful nonprofit fundraising software company, Gravyty. Under his leadership, Givzey has experienced strong early adoption and rapid market validation. Recently, Givzey closed its Series A funding round led by Telescope Partners, bringing the company to a valuation of over $100 million, enabling accelerated growth.

opportunity for impact

As Givzey | Version2.ai enters its next phase of growth, the company seeks an ambitious Vice President of Marketing who will lead and scale the marketing organization. Reporting into the CEO, we’re hiring a VP of Marketing who can turn Givzey into the clear category leader for autonomous fundraising, tighten our narrative, and use marketing to improve win rates and sales cycles while also unlocking new foundational growth channels.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Vice President of Marketing will drive new insight and opportunities for growth, with a hands-on and data-driven approach to marketing.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Own and refine the overall Givzey story and category narrative for autonomous fundraising and AI-driven fundraising operations.
  • Design and run multi-channel programs (webinars, email, website, partner campaigns, LinkedIn, dinners/events) that support our world-class outbound and conference motion.
  • Build a tight win/loss and customer research loop and feed those insights into messaging, pricing, packaging, and roadmap input.
  • Ensure every touchpoint — first email, first call, deck, proposal — tells a consistent, compelling story and showcases the right customer proof.
  • Drive key metrics including website traffic, demos, signups, customers, funnel conversion rates, cost per acquisition, customer lifetime value, and other unit economics per marketing channel & campaign
  • Establish performance benchmarks and KPI reporting that track achievement against these goals
  • Tie performance and brand together, in an atmosphere where brand is central in decision-making
  • Further develop Givzey | Version2.ai’s brand, messaging, and customer personas
  • Develop and manage the marketing plan, budget, and forecast
  • Develop and execute a staffing structure and hiring plan that directly supports goals
  • Report to Leadership and the Board on the effectiveness of marketing efforts
  • Lead and participate in the marketing function as a strategic leader with a “roll up the sleeves” approach
professional qualifications
  • 8+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience in high growth, early stage startups.
  • 3+ years of product marketing experience preferred
  • 5+ years in a top-line marketing leadership role (head of, vp, cmo)
  • Experience working at a company during the early- to mid-stages of its development; has seen a company grow from <50 employees to >200
  • Experience working at a SaaS, AI/ML, or fundraising technology
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of and/or understanding of early-stage businesses (specifically at seed- / Series A-stage)
  • Experience building high-functioning teams with a “roll up the sleeves” mentality
  • Experience collaborating closely with leadership, Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to hone product and approach to market
  • Exposure to the nonprofit world (volunteering, fundraising, etc.) is a plus
personal characteristics
  • Passionate about leading Marketing for a disruptive, category-defining, mission-driven brand
  • Action-oriented self-starter who can set strategy and business plans with a hands on mentality
  • Deeply analytical with an ability to process data in order to make decisions; someone with a bias to being in the weeds and digging into every component of the business
  • Continuously learning and challenging the status quo; you are highly strategic with intellectual horsepower
  • Articulate and clear communicator with highly developed interpersonal skills, with a transparent and direct communication style to build trust with executive-level relationships and a loyal and high-performing team.
