About This Role:

We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Vice President, Procurement to lead the transformation of our procurement function. This is a critical leadership role that will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer reflecting procurement's strategic importance as an operational enabler and value driver across Crusoe. You will be instrumental in continuing to build a world-class procurement organization that supports our ambitious growth targets, ensures supply chain resilience, and optimizes value across all spend categories, particularly within our high-growth cloud and digital infrastructure business units.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define and execute a comprehensive global procurement strategy that directly supports the company's rapid growth, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic objectives in AI, datacenter, cloud computing and power systems

  • Organizational Development: Lead the continued growth and development of Crusoe’s procurement teams (Cloud, Datacenter, Corporate Functions) through the strengthening of a unified, high-performing department. Foster a culture of proactive business partnering, moving procurement from a transactional function to a strategic enabler

  • Process Optimization & Standardization: Drive end-to-end process re-engineering across all procurement workflows, with a critical focus on accelerating process creation and execution. Implement robust purchasing strategies, vendor management processes and SLAs and / KPIs to ensure value maximization, process efficiency and consistency

  • Technology & Digitalization: Champion the strategic adoption and optimization of procurement technologies, including enhancing the Coupa-centric stack with advanced AI capabilities for spend analysis, contract management, and automation. Ensure seamless integration with other critical business systems

  • Risk Management & Supply Chain Resilience: Develop and implement robust supply chain risk management strategies, ensuring continuity of supply for critical components and services in a dynamic market

  • Talent Development & Capability Building: Build and mentor a high-performing procurement team, implementing comprehensive training programs, fostering a knowledge-sharing culture, and enhancing overall team capabilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with internal business unit leaders (e.g., Cloud, Datacenter, Power, Corporate functions) to ensure early procurement involvement and alignment with business needs

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in procurement leadership and management roles, with

  • Significant experience in high-growth technology, datacenter, or cloud computing environments

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale procurement transformations, creating efficient and well constructed procurement processes and supporting a collaborative team of procurement experts driving significant cost savings, and enhancing operational efficiency

  • Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and supply chain risk mitigation

  • Strong understanding of procurement technologies and experience leveraging AI/ML for procurement optimization

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
