About xCures

The best of medicine should belong to everyone. Nobody dreams of becoming good at being a patient. We have people to love, things we want to do, and plans we hope to keep. Illness already asks enough of us.

xCures® exists to give healthcare the capacity to care for everyone. Healthcare has more to give. Too much of its time, money, and talent goes into unnecessary work that keeps people waiting and drives up the cost of care. Freeing those resources can make excellent care possible for far more people.

xCures understands a patient’s history across the places they receive care and keeps that understanding current. It puts trusted information in the hands of the people who need it, when they need it, and uses that knowledge to take on more of the administrative work around care. Every extracted data point traces back to the exact document and page it came from.

Our ambition is to empower doctors to make better decisions, enable researchers to develop better treatments faster, and help healthcare organizations serve more people with fewer errors and lower costs. We work with diagnostic labs, providers, telehealth companies, health systems, payers, and consumer health platforms. We are a fully remote, venture-backed team that holds itself to the same standard as our product: trustworthy, precise, and purposeful.

We are building for the lives people want to live.

Here’s Where You’ll Make An Impact:

xCures is hiring a product leader who turns open questions into dated decisions. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will own how xCures decides what to build and how it shows the build was worth it. You will lead the product management team across our customer segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product strategy. Define and own the multi-year product strategy, and keep it tied to the company’s growth goals
  • Roadmap ownership. Own the product roadmap across our customer segments. Set direction, sequence the work, and carry the trade-offs
  • Decision making. Drive timely decisions on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs
  • Team leadership. Hire, develop, and lead a team of product managers. Set the performance bar and create a path for people to grow
  • Product operating model. Own and scale the process from discovery through launch, including requirements standards, prioritization, and launch readiness
  • Cross-functional execution. Partner with Engineering and Data Science to ship committed work on committed dates
  • Measurement and outcomes. Define the success metric for each launch before it ships, and report against it afterward
  • Portfolio lifecycle and expansion. Own the path from early concept to production, and decide what earns continued investment and what retires. Lead expansion into new markets and segments
  • Commercial partnership. Partner with Commercial and Product Marketing so customer problems reach the roadmap with evidence attached. Give Product Marketing what it needs to take a launch to market
Qualifications:Required:
  • 15+ years in product management, including 10+ years of experience managing product managers
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Deep experience in health technology or clinical data platforms
  • A track record of shipping products that address customers’ pain points
  • Experience in a regulated environment, where HIPAA, PHI handling, traceability, and evidence requirements shape the design
  • Cross-functional influence: you align Engineering, Data Science, Commercial, Product Marketing, and Medical Affairs without formal authority over any of them

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in diagnostics, specialty pharmacy, revenue cycle, or prior authorization and utilization management
  • Hands-on experience building with LLMs in production
  • Fluency with generative AI tools inside the product process itself: discovery, requirements, and documentation
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, TEFCA, and NCPDP
  • Familiarity with CMS prior-authorization rulemaking
  • Experience scaling a product organization through rapid revenue growth and market expansions
Location

xCures operates in a distributed, remote-first environment, with occasional travel to company offsites or key meetings throughout the year. Candidates may be located anywhere in the United States. The successful candidate must already have authorization to work in the United States. At this time, xCures does not offer sponsorship. All candidate information will be held in confidence and in accordance with EEOC guidelines.

We recognize that people bring a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the requirements listed in a job description. Diversity of experience and skills, combined with a shared passion for healthcare, is what drives us to innovate. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet every qualification listed. xCures is an equal opportunity employer, committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
