We are now looking for a strategic and results-driven sales leader to join our team as the VP of Sales and build the foundation for our next stage of growth.
About the Role:
As the VP of Sales, you will be a critical member of the leadership team, responsible for optimizing and scaling our sales organization. You will define the sales strategy, process, and culture to drive significant revenue growth in the eye care market. This is a hands-on role for a leader who is excited to both build a high-performing team and engage directly with customers to close key deals in a fast-paced startup environment while working closely with the CEO.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a team of high-performing sales professionals.
- Design and implement a scalable, repeatable sales process from lead generation to closing.
- Establish and manage key sales metrics, forecasts, and reporting to provide visibility to the executive team.
- Personally drive strategic deals with key accounts and build relationships with industry leaders.
- Collaborate with marketing to align on lead generation strategies and campaigns.
- Act as the voice of the customer to the product team, providing market feedback to inform the product roadmap.
What We're Looking For:
- 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 4 years in a sales leadership role, preferably in B2B SaaS.
- A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, both individually and as a leader.
- Experience building and scaling a sales team in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Deep expertise in developing sales playbooks, compensation plans, and forecasting models.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills—you know how to ask the right questions and articulate a compelling value proposition.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously without missing a beat.
Bonus Points If You:
- Have led sales a seed or Series A company to eight figures in ARR
- Have experience selling vertical SaaS
- Have a background selling EHR, practice management, or other HealthTech software.
- Can think beyond individual deliverables and bring ideas for how we scale our customer acquisition strategy as we grow.
