About this role

Your Team

The Digital Solutions team is responsible for the strategy and execution of many of the firm’s enterprise AI, productivity and collaboration technology solutions including Microsoft 365, Copilot, ChatGPT, Box, Airtable, Miro, NetDocuments, and other SaaS technologies. The team is central to BlackRock’s AI enablement journey, improving the employee digital experience as a result. We collaborate with various cross-functional technical and non-technical teams around the world to deliver secure and scalable technology services.

The Digital Solutions team has three verticals: AI & Data Solutions, Productivity Solutions, and Collaboration Solutions, and aligns it to the Digital Workplace AI organization.

Your role and impact

As Vice President within AI Solutions, you will sit at the intersection of enterprise technology, AI product innovation, and digital employee experience transformation. You will help lead the firm’s shift toward intent driven work and agent-based execution by translating the Employee Digital Experience (EDE) North Star into AI enabled, scalable, governed digital products.

You will build the AI product strategy and roadmap for employee experiences across Microsoft AI and frontier partners (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity), ensuring solutions consistently meet enterprise governance standards, align to firm‑wide technology policy, embed risk and privacy controls, and deliver measurable employee impact.

You will drive cross platform AI experience quality, product requirements, and coherence across Copilot, chat experiences, agents, and automation capabilities, ensuring consistency, governance by design, and value realization.

You will manage a team and partner closely with Digital Workplace Engineering, Legal and Compliance, Risk, HR, and Information Security to deliver enabled experiences that are intuitive, governed, reusable, and embedded into daily workflows. Your work will prevent fragmented pilots, accelerate enterprise adoption, and ensure AI platform direction aligns to the firm’s needs.

As Vice President, Workplace AI Employee Digital Experience, you will:

  • Own and continuously refine the AI product strategy for employee experiences across Microsoft AI and frontier partners, ensuring alignment to the 2028 EDE strategy.

  • Translate the EDE North Star into prioritized scenarios that enable intent‑driven work, agent‑based execution, and frictionless employee workflows.

  • Co‑own AI product requirements, experience quality standards, and cross‑platform coherence across Copilot, conversational interfaces, agent frameworks, and automation ecosystems.

  • Lead end‑to‑end product delivery, from discovery and pilot through production, global scale, and lifecycle optimization—grounded in rigorous governance and compliance processes.

  • Embed Legal and Compliance, Information Security, Procurement, and HR controls directly into AI product design to ensure responsible AI and governance by design.

  • Serve as the primary strategic interface with Microsoft and frontier AI partners, shaping product direction through clear enterprise requirements and adoption signals.

  • Drive measurement frameworks that quantify employee impact, reduce friction, and ensure investment is directed toward high frequency, high value scenarios.

  • Partner with Digital Workplace stakeholders to ensure AI products are supported through strong onboarding, change management, user education, and operational processes.

What you’ll need:

  • Proven leadership experience delivering enterprise scale AI, digital workplace, or cloud products within complex global organizations.

  • Deep understanding of Microsoft 365, Microsoft AI ecosystem, M365 Copilot, agent frameworks, and automation platforms; familiarity with frontier models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity) strongly preferred.

  • Expertise in product management disciplines including roadmap ownership, backlog prioritization, lifecycle management, and cross functional stakeholder alignment.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate enterprise strategy into actionable, governed product scenarios that scale across diverse business functions.

  • Strong knowledge of governance, compliance, security, and privacy controls and how to embed them into product design (governance by design mindset).

  • Experience partnering with Legal, Risk, HR, Architecture, and Security teams to launch compliant technology products.

  • Familiarity with Digital Workplace and SaaS governance principles, including platform onboarding, suitability assessment, and shadow IT mitigation.

  • Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills; ability to clearly articulate complex AI capabilities and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Strong vendor and partner management experience, including defining product requirements and influencing partner roadmaps.

  • Ability to lead teams, mentor talent, drive operational excellence, and create repeatable processes for scaling AI products.

  • Comfort operating in fast‑evolving AI landscapes, with a bias for structured experimentation, innovation, and measurable value creation.

  • 8+ years of experience in product strategy, enterprise platforms, AI solutions, or digital transformation roles.
