Our client is looking for a Video Ad Editor to join their growing team and create high-converting paid social creatives across multiple digital platforms. They operate within the consumer products and e-commerce space and have experienced significant growth in recent years, expanding internationally and securing placements in major retail stores across multiple markets.

The Video Ad Editor will play a key role in producing performance-focused creative assets designed to drive measurable results across paid social channels. This is a fast-paced, hands-on editing role focused on direct response advertising rather than traditional cinematic editing.

Responsibilities
  • Edit short-form paid social advertisements ranging from 10–60 seconds for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and similar channels.
  • Transform raw footage, UGC, testimonials, product demonstrations, and static assets into high-performing ad creatives.
  • Develop multiple creative variations to test different hooks, messaging angles, and offers.
  • Repurpose existing organic and UGC content into conversion-focused advertisements.
  • Add captions, motion graphics, overlays, animations, and compelling calls-to-action.
  • Collaborate closely with growth, paid media, and creative teams to align content with campaign goals.
  • Review ad performance metrics and optimize creatives based on data insights.
  • Maintain quick turnaround times while preserving creative quality and brand consistency.
  • Continuously experiment with new editing approaches and creative testing strategies.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience specifically editing paid social advertisements.
  • Strong understanding of direct response marketing principles.
  • Proven experience creating vertical-format content (9:16).
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing platforms.
  • Experience creating engaging captions and on-screen text for social ads.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Comfortable integrating AI tools into editing and creative workflows.
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics such as CPA, ROAS, hook rate, and retention rate.
  • Experience producing high-volume creative variations efficiently.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience editing performance marketing creatives for e-commerce or consumer brands.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and short-form storytelling.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to make creative decisions based on performance insights.
  • Ability to receive feedback constructively and adapt quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience collaborating in fast-moving remote teams.
  • Detail-oriented while maintaining speed and efficiency.

Benefits
  • Full-time opportunity.
  • 100% remote role.
  • Work with a rapidly growing international consumer brand.
  • Collaborative and fast-paced environment with growth opportunities.
  • Exposure to high-volume paid social campaigns and creative testing strategies.
  • Opportunity to work closely with performance marketing and growth teams
