Seeking a skilled Video Editor to create high-quality video content, perform color correction, and collaborate with creative teams while maintaining brand vision.
Thuma is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. This role requires someone with strong technical skills in video editing and color correction, ensuring that all content is polished, visually cohesive, and engaging. You’ll work closely with our art directors, graphic designers, copywriters, and producers to craft high-quality videos that align with our brand’s vision.
Thuma’s Headquarters is based in the historic Presidio neighborhood of San Francisco. The role involves three days in the office each week and occasional additional days as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into compelling video content for various platforms (social media, web, advertisements, etc.).
- Perform color correction and grading to enhance the overall look and feel of the footage.
- Work with sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects when needed.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure consistency in visual storytelling.
- Organize and maintain video files, assets, and projects efficiently.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and editing techniques.
This Might Describe You
- 3+ years of experience in video editing and post-production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and/or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of color correction and grading techniques.
- Experience working in a variety of assets for various channels ranging from TV commercials to social media to paid marketing.
- Familiarity with LUTs, scopes, and advanced color grading workflows.
- Background in cinematography or an eye for composition and lighting.
- Experience with After Effects and motion graphics is a plus.
- Knowledge of various video formats, codecs, and compression standards.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Bonus: Experience in photo editing or retouching is a plus, though not required.
