Shared Services Marketing handles the marketing and content initiatives support for all Gray-owned and operated TV stations.

Job Summary/Description:

Gray Media is looking for an experienced Video Editor/Producer to join the Gray Creative Group. This role will involve editing video projects for a variety of platforms to support group-wide marketing initiatives and station support. This position requires a self-motivated individual capable of producing high-quality videos. A candidate should have strong editing, graphics, and post-production skills, and the ability to effectively communicate project processes and feedback with the team. This is a remote position.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to)

• Involved in multiple phases of production, including creative development, storyboarding, editing, post-production, and finishing/delivery.
• Generate on-brand ideas that are within project scope.
• Quickly and effectively conceptualize and create high-end video content for a variety of media and campaign platforms, including broadcast, digital, and social channels.
• Deliver video projects on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and independently.

Qualifications/Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in this role or a similar role
    • Expert visual storyteller with strong skills in writing, cinematography, and Adobe Creative Cloud editing and graphics programs.
    • Highly creative with the ability to write, edit, and produce for various broadcast, digital, and social platforms.
    • Understanding of the latest professional post-production tools, video formats, codecs, media settings, edit workflows, color profiles, and delivery specs.
    • Learning-oriented self-starter who can manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail while working independently.
    • Must be skilled and up to date on location video production (on-site shooting, lighting, audio, and field production workflows) and able to complete occasional shoots at a Gray station/market as needed.
    • Degree in Broadcast and Film Production or equivalent
    • Proven experience in editing/post-production is required; please provide a link to past work in your resume.
