Job Description

  • Job Title: Video / Photo / Cinematographer
  • Job Description: MOTA is seeking a creative cinematographer to use cameras, equipment, and computer software to produce finished images, prints, and videos.
  • Compensation: DOE
  • Availability: Immediate Opening
  • Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

  • Perform all phases of production: preproduction, production, and postproduction.
  • Transport, set up, and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones.
  • Operate and maintain proper levels of calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment.
  • Generate, sustain, and guide creative process.
  • Discover innovative ways to create cutting-edge results.
  • Digital editing.
  • Engage in research to develop new procedures and materials.
  • Exercise independent judgment in editing of material and assessing visual context.
  • Adjust filters and lenses, framing, camera placement and lighting.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology.

Qualifications

  • Skilled in visualizing and shooting concepts effectively.
  • Skilled in production and editing.
  • Artistic and innovative with precise attention to detail.
  • Ability to give clear instructions and to accept direction.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of lighting techniques.
  • Exceptional technical knowledge of digital processes and camera equipment.
  • Practical, technical, and creative expertise.
  • Ability to adapt ideas and make decisions quickly.
  • Familiar with the latest technology.
  • Knowledge of camera operation.
  • Legal to work in the United States and be able to pass background check and screening.
