About the role:

The Video & Photo Creative Production Lead owns end-to-end visual production, elevating the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of video and photo content across the brand. This role brings strong, shoot-ready creative ideas to life—translating brand direction and product messaging into premium, credible, high-performing visual storytelling.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a production-driven creative who can plan and execute efficient shoots, direct and develop a team, and maintain high visual standards without over-engineered processes. The ideal candidate balances creative ambition with practical execution, operates with urgency, and consistently delivers polished, authentic content on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Lead video & photo production, elevates execution quality, and brings strong, shootable creative ideas that translate brand direction into high-performing content.

1. Run production end-to-end

Plan shoots (locations, lighting, gear, talent)

Execute efficiently (not over-engineered agency style)

Deliver consistent quality across shoots

2. Upgrade visual quality immediately

Bring a strong point of view on how to make tech feel premium and credible

Create environments that feel real and lived-in, not staged or artificial

Demonstrate expert-level control of lighting, composition, and overall visual tone

3. Lead and direct the team

Manage and guide a team of 6 video designers with clear, actionable feedback

Improve storytelling, pacing, and hooks across all outputs

Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices

4. Stay hands-on and execution-focused

Step in to shoot or direct when needed

Run lean, efficient productions independently when required

Solve problems quickly and drive projects forward without over-reliance on external vendors

5.  Creative development & storyboarding

Translate high-level creative briefs, product messaging, and marketing objectives into clear, executable concepts

Develop detailed storyboards that define shot structure, pacing, and visual flow

Write and refine on-screen text and/or voiceover scripts that clearly communicate product value

Ensure all concepts are practical to produce while maintaining strong creative impact

6. Own budget & timelines

Take full accountability for delivering high-quality productions on time and within budget

Balance creative ambition with practical execution, avoiding over-engineered solutions

Proactively solve scheduling and resource challenges to prevent delays

Operate with a strong sense of urgency and efficiency across all projects


Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • 7+ years of experience in video and photo production, with a strong portfolio demonstrating elevated visual quality, storytelling, and production execution.
  • Proven ability to run end-to-end productions, including shoot planning (locations, lighting, gear, talent), on-set direction, and post-production editing and oversight.
  • High-end production and cinematography, working with tight timelines on minimal budget.
  • Expert-level command of lighting, composition, visual tone, and environmental design, especially for making technology feel premium, credible, and real.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and directing creative teams, providing clear, actionable feedback to improve storytelling, pacing, and overall output quality.
  • Strong hands-on production skills, with the ability to step in to shoot, direct, or run lean productions independently when needed.
  • Experience translating creative briefs and product messaging into executable concepts, storyboards, and scripts that balance creativity with feasibility.
  • Proven track record managing budgets and timelines, delivering high-quality work on schedule while avoiding over-engineered or inefficient solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to move projects forward quickly with minimal reliance on external vendors.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment with high expectations for quality, ownership, and accountability.
